I was at GrandRC visiting Ed this past Wednesday and the minute I walked in, he handed me a bundle of plastic baggies from Kasama and said I have to have this for my 600N. After many attempts to resist purchasing the new head, I ultimately left with the new head. Here are pictures of the completed head I built last night. I still have to adjust the linkage rods to get the appropriate pitch but otherwise they're complete:

I wanted to say that this is the best machined helicopter head I have put together, even better than my Hirobo Lepton. The pieces went together so well and there is such little amounts of slop on the head that you can already tell this heli is going to be responsive.

Some minor adjustments that are needed: I used a dremel to take off some of the main shaft edges so that the see-saw bar would not hit it at the bottom of travel. This was Ed's suggestion.

Here are pictures of the dremelled shaft and a normal shaft:

Here is what the shaft looks like in the head:

Here's what the head looks like with the original shaft:

The tolerances on this head are so small. The main shaft fit into the bearings so snugly with zero slop.

I can't wait to try this setup tomorrow!

Oh, Bob/Finless, should be getting a head from GrandRC soon and has said he'll likely make a video as well.

I have a kasama on my raptor 50 and it's terrific! I'm pretty certain that this one will be as good, let us know how it goes.

Oh PLEASE update us tomorrow after you get the chance to fly it! I would love to know how you compare it to the stock head.

I will say that this thing is so responsive! Unfortunately, I was only able to get one flight in at dusk yesterday due to a family engagement. Even with just one flight, it is apparent that this head is awesome. I accidentally had 10 degrees of elevator pitch and my setup handled it so responsively. (It was setup for 12 degrees of collective pitch, 8 degrees of aileron pitch and 10 degrees of elevator pitch. I was in such a hurry to get it into the air before the sun went down that I forgot to check the elevator pitch.) The there was no delay in the heli's movements with stick input, like there were with the stock dampeners, or even infinivation dampeners.

I say this is a winner! I can't wait to get back to the field to put more time on this head!

I am just starting to look at the parts and assembly. I will start a vid tomorrow.

But one thing I like for SURE is the oiler hole in the grips for the thrust bearing! I use to do this on my Hirobo helis and it sure made oiling the thrust beaings easy!
