Do I look here for info on the Fury Gasser or in the MA forums?
I would guess here!
Any word on its progress or release date?
Which engine are they going to use? Will it have the GOOD carb?
Roughly what price tag will it have?
I'm planning on passing on both the Bergen Gasser and the Predator Gasser because I heard this one was going to be better than both of them (besides, I was having too much trouble deciding between them anyway!).

Glenn,
I was talking to Tim at MA this morning about the Fury Gasser. The IonX is starting to ship tomorrow ( 4/16). Tim said he is going to focus on the Fury Gasser next. He is shooting for a release of the Fury Gasser in the next couple of months. He mentioned that he hopes to have it ready to ship the end of June to mid July. So we should see it sometime in the summer months here .

Hi Glenn,
I have seen John Garst flying the prototype quite a few flights and it performs awesome (including 3D) and autos great. I too would LOVE a gasser, and it is GREAT that there are soon going to be three excellent up to date and currnet choices. :) :) :) It is a win-win situation for anyone looking to go gas.
Now I just have to convince the wife we NEED one of them. For me that is the deal breaker. I doubt she would believe I built a gasser out of R90 parts either.... :(

Goodie...Goodie....:D
Glenn,
On thing to keep in mind the Fury Gasser will not be a great choice for anything but the LARGE fuselages if you are looking at scale still. The frames are too tall IMO.
It will however be a GREAT 3D and pod and boom platform from the pics I have seen. :D
Come on conversion kit. :D

No, not for scale. I'm a bit "scaled out" right now after the Bell 222 fiaso . . . 50 hours of work and it might all end up in a refund because Century screwed up.
Anyway, it will be a pod and boom and/or a camera ship.

Actually my Gas Graphite SE is a custom built that I came up with and Tim kitted for me but is not a Fury prototype. Many upgrades have been made to it to make it fly very much like the Fury although it is still mechanical mix, not CCPM. It's performance is due in part to the upgrades and lightening done (12 Lbs.), but mostly to that wonderful G-231.
The new Fury gas is destined to use the G-231 motor as mine also does as it is MUCH more user friendly than the G-26. My G-231 is using the Walbro 643 carb. I also have in my gallery a picture of the "generation 2-ish" Fury prototype that was flown at Mulberry using the same motor/carb set-up.
The Fury gas as it will be kitted has had many changes since then. The first protos were a bit heavier than mine but quickly dropped the weight and as I understand, the production bird will be less than 12 pounds. That will be awesome!
Actually you should be able to get the first information on the MA forum and then here! The price and product name have not been released as of yet. Kit #1025-5 will be the kit number.
Hope this helps!

Testing continues with the model. I think the overall configuration is about right now for the g231. There's a little bit of twiddling left and then it will be flown some more.
John/David have covered most of the details. Like most XCell models, it will be very tunable to your particular flying style or purpose. Carbon fiber frames will be std as will the extreme rotor head.
Too early for a final weight yet, but soon.

I stand corrected. Shows you how much I know. :D
Even if it is not the new gasser prototype it sure flys good!
