Hi,

I have made my first 10 flights with my new Hurricane 550 (it is cold here, around 0-2 degree celsius...). I get 7:30 min of (sport) flying with two FlightPower 2170 mAh EVO 25C (80% discharge), Z-20 980 kV motor, stock OK gears, CF blades and 15T pinion. My head speed is 1750 at 75%, 1910 at 85% and 2160 at 100% (calculated from the values at 75 and 85%). I am running a 0-50-80-85-90 throttle curve for now.

It is fun to fly but I feel that my servos have some difficulty to return to 0 degre. On the ground they are ok, so I do not know if this feeling is normal since I am used to fly the T-Rex 450 that is much quicker. It is like driving a big truck that has some loose in the power steering. My links move freely but it feels like they are not or that they do not have enough torque. For your information, I do not use expo on my TX.

My servos are cheap ones (Futaba 3151), so it may explain the feeling that I have, but others run these servos on their Hurri. Is it normal to feel that or do you think my servos are not good enough? I know it is hard to say but I would like to get opinions...

Thanks

S3151 doesn't have the torque and speed. If your BEC is giving out 5.8V - 6.0V I would strongly recommend the S3050. It is much quicker and it has twice as much torque. I have S9252 on my Hurricane and I will be using S9451 for my fully bling EP550.

However, I am going to buy S9252 as I was supposed to do at the beginning.
