i have the xes kit and noticed at full - pitch that i have some binding when giving back elevator. at first it looked like the swash rear pin was hitting the metal xes anti-rotation bracket(if thats what its called). so i removed the bracket from the frame and used a dremel tool to file down the opening to make it a little longer down so i can get some more travel. when i re-installed it i noticed that the swash still could not tilt back any further even though the metal bracket had plenty of room for the pin to tilt down now?? the plastic link arm that is inside of the frame at the rear of the swash is whats binding up and causing the swash from tilting further. making my loops slow.
is there any fix for this? maybe its in my setup but i have followed finless's videos. im only able to get about 45% in my elevator swash arf setting, anymore and the swash bindes at full - pitch.
everything at 0 pitch is level. i also notice that i get +13 and -11 pitch. does that sound right. i would think i should be able to get +13,-13?
thanks for any help in advance!!

just adjust the long links in the head until you get +12....-12 on your pitch.
On your head you need to shorten them a couple of turns... P.S be careful to adjust them equaly

I took my A -arm assembly apart and ran a drill bit though one piece to loosen it up. It was very tight to start.

If youa re getting uneven pitch, start with making sure that your servos are centered, 90 degrees and that the bellcranks are at the right angle. I had trouble with getting this right. And that was even using the ReadyHeli Zero Alignment Tool.

i should clarify that when i ment binding of the elevator arm (A-arm) i really ment that it stops moving any further. it moves nice and free but it seems that it bottoms out on itself when the swash is tilted backwards as far as it can go. this bottoming out only allows me to get 6 degrees of cyclic pitch on the elevator when on aliron i can get at least 8 degrees?

Hmm, look closely to see what it might be hitting. I am getting something like +/- 12 collective and about 7.5 cyclic for both aileron and elevator.

Are you sure the binding isn't at the wahsout arms?

i dont believe the washout arms are the problem. i dont see them hitting anything. its close but there are not hitting.i can actually see the A-arm binding on itself. when i give elevator down i see the swash tilt back and then stop and the front of it tilts upward, like the back wants to go down but cant? if that makes sense?

The problem is the washout link hits the arm.

But you might have another problem.
