Does anyone know if Mikado will be offering a TT tail system for the 500/600 3D birds?

I haven't heard of any plans, a torque tube tail actually has identical or worse drag coeffecients than a good belt setup. My 6003d has less drag than a buddies trex 600, with torque tube, when spinning the head by hand.
Only advantage would be a very minor upgrade in precision, but the tail is very, very good already. Not sure that you could tell the difference. Certainly not enough to justify the added weight and complexity ?

There will be no TT upgrade, and there will never be a need or an advantage to having one on a Mikado machine imho.

agreed, if you got the belt tension right, it is oh so smooth. ive never felt lag in power at least :D

Oooops let me revise that.
"No sir I do not think that Mikado will entertain that thought at this time. It has been discussed that their is no benifit to using a Tourque Tube in the current line of Mikado machines, be well and live long. " :smokin:
