still says it will be available soon, but I'm intrigued that they finally posted a page on their website. I fear that it will go the wayside with the anticipation of the trex500... thought I'd post to let people know though. Happy flying.

I don't know think the TRex 500 will kill it. The 620 is a bigger heli. And I think the 500 is too small. I really think that the Swift is the perfect size soccer field flyer. Big enough to see, pretty good in the wind, but quiet enough not to bother people. I got 380 flights on mine last summer at the soccer fields. No complaints.

Just my opinions...

Keep 'em flying.

Yep, I agree with LJS, two completely different markets as the Rex 500 is just slightly larger then the Rex 450.

Comparing the Swift 620 to the Rex500 would be like comparing the Rex 450 to a Blade CP.

I don't disagree that the 620 is considerably larger than the trex500, and that people will purchase it for different reasons... I just think it's been so quiet here on the century boards that the availability of a new helicopter might go by relatively unnoticed with the hype the t500 has drawn. I for one would like to get this new century bird, although funds keep me from purchasing any new heli at this time. (perhaps by summer time). Ironically, my interest in the 620 is for AP work... I'd be curious to know if anyone has crafted a front camera mount for any of the swift helis. I feel like the frame design might allow for the battery to be placed near the rear of the bird to counter balance the camera being in the front. Just a few thoughts. Hope you're all enjoying the winter season and I'll be excited to see when someone obtains one of these new century birds! -til later,
