What do you guys think of the Mega-Power batteries? I have a few of them and while running my HBCP2 it seems like they are just not producing the power needed to fly my Heli. Also My Dragonus just ruined my second Mega-Power battery, getting puffy. Only ran my Dragonus for about 5 minutes, hovering.

Crap, plain and simple
I have two 2100 3s packs that are a year old, 200 flights each. Based on those I bought two more about three months ago so I would have 4 packs the two newer ones are puffed less than 35 flights. I also bought three of the 3600 4s packs for my swift eveyone of them puffed after 25 flights by 40 flights they were only lasting for about a minute. I love my HDX450 but I would stay away from the Mega Power packs. I fly with people that are also having the same issues. The 2100 packs discharged more than 1400ma, the 3600 packs never discharged below 2300 ma. All charged on a BC-8 or a ICE with a blinky, always balanced.

Well I moved to A123 cells on my swift and have about 35 flights on a 6s1p setup which I really love but they are not so hot for a T-rex size bird. I have also tested a couple of Air Thunder packs from a buddy and they worked very well, they only have about 10 flights on them so I can not speak for longevity. After losing money on cheap packs I would have to say stay with name brand like flight power or Thunder Power. I have seen a lot of good reviews on the Kong stuff? The Air Thunders are heavier but I will probably give those a try when I get some more packs for the HDX in the spring. At this time I wont be buying any lipos for my swift, I am very happy with the A123 setup. Makes me want to save my pennies for a Mikado 600.

I have not seen the FMA batteries but they look nice? I like the weight and the price. I will have to read up on those.

Here is what you need for the 600

A 3700 will only get you about 3 mins.

I am using the stock setup right now and I get around 6 min on a 5000. (no 3dz)

The 4900 will also work good but they are the same price so just get the 5000.

I use a Hyperion EOS0610 inet to charge it and it works great if you have a big enough power supply.
