So after my first crash and rebuild I find that my Titan drops altitude when you give cyclic input. Drops to about an inch above ground then slowly rises again.
MY question is : did I screw up in the setup or am I supposed to give more throttle input while doing cyclic movement?

Its normal for a heli to loose some altitude when cyclic is used. You rotor disk essentially acts much like a fixed wing and so, in addition to moving forward, you heli wil also start loosing altitude unless you compensate by inputing more collective. Simillarly when pulling up on the elecator, the heli should gain altitude without added collective i.e. less collective would have to be applied to stop the heli from gaining altitude.
The dropping effect will also be greater on windy days as your air speed will be higher if you are flying into the wind. This is why you will find your heli will bob up and down while you hover as every little cyclic adjustment will create unwanted lift due to airspeed.
This becomes intuitive as you move on.
Do check that you headspeed doesnt decay due to binding though when you input cyclic as that could also be a cause (although less likely)
