I recently purchased a Gemini and would like some additional information on its installation along with the Futaba 611 gyro for my Stratus.
There are two 611-gyro leads, which one connects to the top of the Gemini? RX 1-2 or RX AUX?
The instructions mention removing the red wire that comes from the connector that comes from the aux lead on the governor. Could
that be the RX AUX lead that comes from the gyro amp? Or does it really mean governor? I understand the purpose but not the process.
Thanks

I use the Gemini with a GY 601 . The GY 611 will be the same. Plug the lead from the GY611 that is labeled Rudder channel into the top of the Gemini. The other lead that is labeled AUX on the GY 611 will plug into the channel of the receiver that controls the gain and mode of the gyro. This is normally channel 5 on Futaba receivers other than the 12Z and 14MZ.
Now on this lead, you will need to take the red lead and pull the connector out of the plug. Just take the tip of a Xacto blade and slide under the latch in the plug that holds the red connector in the plug. Then pull just the red connector out of the plug and tape it to the lead. This will not allow the 5.9 volts that is being applied to the receiver to go to the gyro also. The gyro is being supplied 5.3 volts from the other lead that is plugged into the end of the Gemini.
