The airplane I fly has a power outlet that have 115v 400hz, can I use my computer power supply rated for input voltage of 115v and 60hz? Double O

Highly unlikely. If the power supply were an old style, with an AC transformer on the input, it would definitely overhead with 400Hz in. It is probably a newer design with a switching supply, however, it still won't be happy with 400Hz. My Dell adapter will work fine on 120VAC 60Hz or 240VAC 50Hz but the silly thing won't even try to come on if I mix it up with 120VAC 50Hz.

At least one airline pilot I know has been using computers in the cockpit since the luggable days. He would plug his luggable, then later laptop inthe 110V 400Hz supply wihtout trouble. This is a 747.

I used to plug in my laptop to a 727 all the time, never had a problem. YMMV
