I had three lipo (http://www.rcuniverse.com/buynow/keywordclick.cfm?bid_id=4670) packs to burn during lunch today. I used the first pack to warm up and get comfortable with the controls. The second pack I spun the tail around 360 in both directions and then recovered orientation. It was actually kind of fun and like I said it didn't result in any broken parts or even a hard touchdown. I used the third pack to practice my nose in flying.
I'll be picking up a radio, servos, gyro (http://www.rcuniverse.com/buynow/keywordclick.cfm?bid_id=5302), Lipo packs (http://www.rcuniverse.com/buynow/keywordclick.cfm?bid_id=5385) and charger for my sky shark tomorrow. http://image2-0.rcuniverse.com/e1/forum/image/s2.gif <---- thats me being happy!

Nice! Exciting isn't it? That feeling, that's an addiction happening! ;)

So you were flying the AXE today? Have you flown a 450 yet? You'll be loving it. If you can fly an AXE, you will be in heaven with the 450!

Please do! I wasn't familiar with the shark, so I looked it up and it looks very sweet. I'm *real* curious about the flybar on top setup.

Jay,

I haven't gotten any pictures yet, but I've flown it twice. It is very stable when hovering. At the same time I have to be careful not to give too much in-put. It is very reactive. I don't know if that is a result of the over-slung fly-bar or if it's just from being a different heli. I will say that the Sky Shark is much more fun to fly than the AXE CP.:YeaBaby:
I think this is going to be more of an outdoor heli than my AXE CP. It moves very quickly and becasue of that, I think I may need more flying room than my KC135 hangar. I'll keep practicing in the hangar, but I'll have to really keep it close.
