Well I had one of those dreaded Raptor Tail blade comes off in flight yesterday, the little set screw that hold the hub on broke and caused me to cuss, but luckily there wasn't much damage all I had to replace was the spindle.
I have those cheesy aluminum skids on it and needless to say they were flattened out but I straightened them and they will fly again.
I solved the set screw problem however by using a cut to length 3mm cap screws and a thin washer instead, just cut them with a dremel the the exact length so that they would tighten on the shaft and the bearings at the same time.
If you do this be sure to used a thin washer as the capscrew is barely large enough as not to fit through the inner race of the bearing, I now have a solid tail hub that should be with me for the life of the machine.
