I see this info on the 210 balancer from Heli-Direct.

Cables are included. Cables only work with TP packs.

Yet I see in Bob's video, that he plugs a FlightPower pack directly into it. I take it that the advertisement statement is just a push for TP packs.

Will the TP210 balancer work with most 6S packs?

It will if you have appropriate adapters from TP to whatever...

So your saying a FlightPower pack will not plug directly into a TP210 with the balancer plug that comes with their packs?

Then I would have to solder a TP balance connector to my FP packs.

I was just wondering because I see the EVO pack being plugged into a TP balancer without a adapter in between the two.

Newer FP packs have the same connector as TP packs.

Older FP packs need an adapter, that FP will send you.

And AirThunder packs have the same balance tap configuration as the Align packs. Adapter will run ya about $4.

I have found that most every pack other than TP and FP use the same connector.

Some are wired reverse of others, so you need some reversing cables. I got mine from Common Sense RC. Or you can rewire the connectors to all be the same orientation. Just be VERY CAREFUL when doing so. I would want to have a spare connector, so I only have one wire out at a time.

PolyQuest packs use a 5 pin connector, and skip a pin for 3S packs, so I made up an adapter out of a 4S and 3S reversing cable.

With a Thunder Power 1010C and a 210 Balancer, exactly what do I need to connect to a FlightPower pack?

Newer FP packs have the same connector as TP packs.

Acoording to this statement if I buy new FP EVO packs they should just plug right into a TP210 Blancer, correct?

yup, that what I have...
1010C + 210V
lipos: 6s FP EVO, 3s TP - (these go directly)
3s Apex, 3s Sonix - needs an adapter

How are you guys powering your TP1010?

I can't see needing a car battery everytime I need to charge a LiPo.. Especially in the house..

Is there some trick or something?

All my FP packs plug directly into the 210 with no adapters required.

Look up power supply's and pick one. Converts AC to DC. Search power supply in these forums and you will get a lot of recomendations.

I just posted links to a couple decent ones in the generator size thread in this very forum.
