I have just bought a spektrum kit for my JR 9303/9XII but I have some concers about problems with the downlink if this operates on 2.4 gHz.

I have a 900 - 1200 MhZ (800 mW) video transmitter and also another 2.4 gHz mini camera which I would like to use as a downlink.

Will there be any conflicts between the TX and the downlink if either the 900 MhZ or the 2.h gHz downlinks?

karbonbird,

Use the 900 Mhz not the 2.4 Ghz. Although there are many channels and the Spektrum smartly chooses 2 to not interfere, there is "adjacent channel interference" because of the power levels of the tx and proximity of the rx that will seriously reduce the range reception of your rx. I would advise against 2.4. But you can try if you wish :0)

Like catfight said.

2.4 + 2.4 = not good

900/1.2 + 2.4 = good

Thanks guys ... 900/1.2 it is then ...

I am really keen to keep the spektrum as it iss to run a GSR260 and I like the idea of added safety with the more reliable 2.4 frequency.

Cheers
