The Sky Shark was RTF except for the gyro, esc, servos, rx/tx and lipo. I took the heli to a LHS and bought everything needed and they set it up for me. Here is the gear that I got:
Spectrum DX6
Futaba GY401
Futaba S9257 digital servo
Hitec HS-65 servos
Air Thunder 2200 mAh 25C lipo packs

The guy that set my heli up gave me a demo. Holy cow this things sweet.:YeaBaby:

I know it'll be a while till I'm able to fly like that, but it was sooo sweet! I'm really excited to fly it in the hangar tomorrow. Yep, I'm going to work so I can give her a whirl.
What I'm not too happy about is that these lipo packs will only get about 4 to 7 minutes of hovering time. I was kind of hoping for more. Oh well. Maybe down the road I'll see about upgrading lipo packs.
I'll try to get some pictures tomorrow.

I am not sure how long my Air Thunder lasts, I stop at 7 minutes now and it is still going strong. You might want to check your belt tension, it might be too tight. You also might want to check your ball links, if they are tight the servos have to work too hard, and that could draw more juice than needed. One thing I have noticed on my RCT-450 is everything is loosening up real nice. I have 6 flights on it now, and the drivetrain is much less tight than it was, but everything is still adjusted well. I don't think you will ever see much more than 7-8 minutes of flight on this helicopter, but you never know. I can milk 9 minutes out of my Falcon with a 2100 lipo, but that brings it too close for comfort to discharging low. I just set my timer for 7 minutes and do my thing. When I am able to be more aggressive, I drop the timer to 5 minutes.

I can get about 8 minutes out of my TP Extreme 2200 and my FP EVO25 2170s.
