I finally was able to record some of the video that I've been doing when flying FPV with my Quick 500 EX helicopter and wanted to share it. I'm using a DX7 with AR7000 RX with a 900mhz downlink system. I just started FPV piloting a few weeks ago and am getting the hang of it.

Here are a few of my FPV flights that I recorded so far. I will continue to update this when I get better:

In one of the videos, I had a crash when I was flying FPV. I'm not exactly sure what happened but I think it was due to a DX7 lockout. I was sitting under a thick tree at the field and it was pretty busy with others using there DX7's. The only thing I could think of was a lockout which happened twice. Fortunately the only thing I broke was a skid. I was actually able to pick it up and fly again with no further problems.

Well, 2.4 ghz is supposed to be line of sight, but i've lost my trex600 behind a giant steel warehouse and didn't lose connection. What RX are you using?

BTW, what are those big round cement things for anyway?

I was using the AR7000 RX. Those round cement things are the designated area for helicopters. The airplanes have there own runway.

What was the power rating of your transmitter?

And were you using the stock receiver antenna or was that a high-gain antenna?

I'm about to set up my T-Rex 450 with a 500 mw 900 mHz transmitter.

By the way, that was some pretty cool low-level flying!

I'm using a 500mw 900mhz downlink with a 8dbi gain antenna.

Nice FPV videos!
Can you please give us a link to a store where we can order your video devices ?
Thanks
