Hi Blackrat, I'm running in window with v-sync and my fps max is set to 500 and i don't have any issues, I'm running on a HP machine with NVIDIA Geforce Fx graphics but i went on their website a little while ago and i updated my drivers but even before this i never had problems. Make sure your graphics drivers are the latest version. Hope this helps in some way mate.

Sounds like a video card heating up. Open up your PC after powering down and make sure the fan is clean. Best to do them all while your at it and and make sure you have good air flow. Tie back any wires that may be restricting the air over the video card.

Hard graphics rendering on a PC heats up the video card and processor much like hard flying heats up the motor on your heli.

What Sim are you using?

its reflex

ive changed my fps to an integer of the monitor rate so that it doesnt flicker without vsync which was working quite well, ie 75hz and 225fps

i never switch my pc off, (except when i want to use reflex and am forced to reboot) i was thinking spyware was hogging all the mem ?

the pc is brand new, ive had it for maybe three weeks now ? oh well
