I'm in the process of changing out some worn parts, I found one that was worn and would like to replace it with something better.

Here's a link to the plans. http://www.ronlund.com/extreme/frames.jpg In the lower half of the parts drawing there is a part number 0131 that fits into part number 115-34. It's a plastic part that fits into the G10 part.

It appears the plastic part is worn. Is there some type of upgrade for this? I was thinking of some type of flanged bearing that would press into 115-34 and fit on the pivot point.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Jeff

When mine developed some play between the hole in the carbon plate and the ourside of the plastic bushing, I epoxied it back in. That was last year, still locked in there. A flanged bearing of equal size would work, but seems like a waste. Nothing rotates there, it's just there to hold the other end of the stud.

Any other ideas.

Jeff,

The best idea is actually just to replace that bushing with a fresh one. A 3x7 flanged bearing would be a waste. As stated, it's only a support point.
