I finally got got to test out the new Scorpion HK2221-6 525watt monster motor on my Mini-Titan and all I can say was WOW!!!!!!

I let my buddy Jason Chow put one of his Kong Power batteries to test out my Mini-Titan with this new motor that gave us ballistic results even with wood blades.

Check it out. HOT...

Don't know if Kong Powers can handle that kind of of torture in the long run.

I had ST2 mode at 100% flat throttle curve and tached the head earlier at 3100rpm's.

what's the weight of your MT?
Is it heavier than 450se?

Don't know the weight, but it is heavier than a Trex 450se.

I weighed a Trex SE and a Mini Titan about a month ago. They were both running Align 35X ESCs with 430XL motors. The SE has oversized HS81s and the MT was running HS65s. Both had an EVO25 2170. The MT was stock besides metal mixing arms. The SE was stock besides plastic bearing blocks and gorilla gear. The MT had a set of Radix and the SE had a set of 325 pro woodies. I don't remember the exact numbers, but the MT weighed more. I think it was around 40 grams more than the SE, but I would have to check to be sure. I took pics of the scale so I can check the actual numbers if you want something more exact.

I wanna know the exact different about MT and Se
Because I will get 2221-6 for my se soon.
If the se lighten than the mt about 40g,I think with this set 2221-6 and 10T
will be good for my batt to get the same RPM just like 3100.
And also has ton of power than the 430XL

With the 6 motor, you need at least 2500mah battery and the Scorpion 55amp ESC is reccomended for most eficiency. I just ordered both this week to get the most out of this motor.

Or else the 2221-8 is good for the Trex so you get more flight time.

Wow, I was way off on the weights.

Keep in mind, the Rex is also using oversize cyclic servos that add to the Rex's weight. They both had the same motor, ESC, lipo, gyro and tail servo. Looks like the Rex has some missing paint on the canopy which probably helps ;)

Keep in mind that your Trex has metal head and tail, unlike ur Mini-T, which is all plastic. Upgrade your Mini-T to metal and see how much extra pounds it adds on!!! :wow2:

My T Rex is about 800g with all the equipment
From the Video ,you were flying about 4 minutes with at least 900g MT using KP 2200MAh
So,I think the 2200MAh batt is good for my T-Rex flying about 3:30 with HK2221-6
What do you think?

Well, I need at least 5 minutes flight time. But if 3:30 is good for you, then your good to go. One of the guys from our club said he was able to get 5 mintues of flight time with that motor on his Dragonus using a 11t pinion at 70% throttle curve. Probably depends how efficient your ESC is also.

I believe Nick Maxwell get like 6-7 minutes flight time with the FlightPower EVO Lites 2500mah 3s on his Gazaur Mars 480 heli.

BTW, I just sold my Mini-Titan to get a Mars 480 also so I can fly like Nick!!!! :)
