There only selling this in the single cell...but could i buy 6 of them and then put them together and run them in my stock Trex-600??? or is this too much..

"Too much" capacity can't really happen - it's just a bigger tank of gas. But it might be too big and/or heavy.

Here what I found. Is any one operating this size battery?

Only 0.5C discharge rate, 11Ah x 0.5C = 5.5A current draw. Almost 20X too small for most heli applications.

no i just found them on maxamps just like razor_racer was talking about...just thought about the possiblities with them.. its going to equal up to about 2.5 pounds.. would be nice for longer flight times but that would have to mean higher temps right??

I did a trade-off comparison for my T-Rex 600, balancing capacity vs. weight vs. size, and had MaxAmps build me a 8000mAh 6S2P. This battery is not listed on their web site, but they can build it for you. It's 137mm high, so it fits on the tray, and is the maximum width to still allow the canopy to be installed. It weights about 2.3 lbs. I get 12 minutes of flight time with a full camera payload with at least another 1 1/2 minutes left to land safely. The 10000mAh battery is too big to fit on the tray and allow the canopy to be installed.

well the 8000 sounds pretty good..thats plenty enough time to be in the air shooting anyway.. probally look into it that or a 5000 not sure yet

I just ordered two pair's of 5S 8000's from Hugo at Truerc.
Great bang for the buck.
I've run their packs in my other heli's and always liked them.
I think he makes 10k's as well.

Man, true RC has some cheap packs!
$110 for a 5000 5S1P pack?!?!?

Yep.
They are great for AP. At least for my 10S expectations.

I agree. Even tho the C rating is kinda low on their packs compared to high dollar premium packs, My fully loaded 10s trex 700 peaks under 50 amps anyway! :YeaBaby:
My Evolite 4250 5s packs were $200 each. I could've gotten 2 5s 5000mah packs from trueRC for nearly that price.
I'm just concerned how well the TrueRC cells are matched. Might make a big difference when trying to balance/charge.
BTW, Kookboy, thanks for dropping my name on the otheRR site :noteworthy
Appreciate it! :D

Iven, np :)
The TrueRC packs that I've owned in the past year have all been matched up well. No irregularities.
Honestly, I haven't found any vendor that's as good as Hugo (TrueRC) for bang for the buck lipo's.

I f you think about it, the C rating is not that bad. 100 amp continuous discharge per cell is a lot. The stock trex 600 ESC is only rated at <75 amps. 100 amp continuos discharge for a 10000mAh cell = 20C continuous discharge for a 5000mAH cell. As if you are going to do 3D with an AP heli. I just ordered a dozen of those from the factory(hecell) and I'm expecting those next week.

These seem to good to be true! $145 for a 22v 6S2P 5000mAh 50C continuous, 75C burst....that's on par with ThunderPower Extreme V2s and half the price!

IMO they are a great deal IF you are using them for sport/AP or have a high voltage system, ie. 10+ cells.

a 2P pack will never be "on par" with a TP or FP pack. look at how great the align 6s2p packs were :bomb:
you're better off with a pack made out of 6 big cells rather than a pack with 12 little ones.

Ive got two TP 6S1P packs and an AT 6S2P pack and cannot tell the difference in flight. Ive heard this about 1P vs 2P but on none of my packs have (Align 1P and 2P, DN 2P, AirThunder 2P and ThunderPower 1P) have I noticed a difference. I sure can feel a difference between C ratings and mAh capacity but not between 1P or 2P.
But I dont do "D" so maybe Im not pushing hard enough to notice.

As a side note, Ive still got three Align 22v packs that are doing just fine. They're only 4600mAh so they dont give flight times quite as long as the others and their C rating is a bit less so they have less umpf, but they're running as good as they did from day one...
Other's mileage may vary

 my Align 6S2P pack lasted about 5 flights doing mild 3D/aerobatics :D
plus, it always took long to balance/charge using the TP 1010/210.
Also, both Align 3S1P 450 packs I had puffed after a short time just being used on a stock 450SE. One puffed on the shelf while in a storage charge :dontknow
I just dont trust the align Lipos anymore. Maybe these packs posted earlier are better :)
...for AP anyway ;)

Your experience with align packs is pretty much similar to everyone else's....but completely opposite of mine. Ive always wondered why...did I just get lucky with every align battery I bought over the last 7 months? Guess so.
My first lipos were a pair of align 11.1v 3S1P 18C 2100mah...still have em and I lost count of the flights along time ago. For the first month of their sevice life I had neither lipo alarm nor timer I just ran til the ESC low-voltage cutoff kicked in. Eventuall I got a lipo alarm that goes off at 3.70v/cel roughly.
Later I picked up a pair of DN 11.1v 3S1P 20C 2100mah, they were noticeably more powerfull than the align ones but the C rating was higher too. They have puffed finally...but they've had a LONG service life too--im talking in the hundreds of cycles...multiple hundreds. For the price, they were a good buy.
When I got my Trex 600 I got a lipo alarm with it so the packs for it have been treated a bit better.
First was a pair of Align 22.2v 6S2P 20C 4600mah packs...still have em and they're near to 200 cycles each and doing fine.
Then was a pair of DN 22.2v 6S2P 20C 4400mah packs...they seemed to wither over time. After about 100 cycles they just didnt have much umpf anymore.
Then was an Align 22.2v 6S1P 20C 4600mah pack...after about 150 cycles it started to fade too but not too much- still use it alot.
Then I got an AirThunder 22.2v 6S1P 25C 5000...that felt a little different than the others, a bit more umpf that I figure is a function of the 25C vs the 20C...not 1P vs 2P. Eventually I picked up a pair of Thunder Power 22.2v 6S1P 25C 5000 packs- they're no different than the AirThunder one and about the same price.
I had been getting all my batteries from GrandRC. Unfortunately, they dont carry the DN 22.2v anymore and Align seems to have redesigned some of their 22.2v packs as I dont see the ones I bought anymore. Maybe GrandRC had gotten lucky with a batch of Align batteries that were good and I bought all of em...I dunno.
So these TrueRc 22.2v 6S2P 25C 5000 packs....aught to be....about the same as any other 22.2v 25C 5000mah pack....or not

My first TP 5000mAh was a complete piece of junk and started failing after 20 cycles. Luckily I was able to send it back to the retailer and they sent me one of the new Xtreme series 6S 5000mAh. This battery is better than any of my other brands now, especially in cold weather. All my other batts have to be landed and re-warmed after about 30 seconds into the flight, but the new TP battery works non-stop in really cold weather. It may have something to do with the way they leave the edges of the packs untrimmed - may retain/dissipate heat differently. For an AP job on a freezing day I always use the TP. They look good, too.
