HELP !!!!!!! I recently bought a raptor 90 off of craigs list, (big mistake) came with a partially assembled heli with a 601 gyro on it, and jr xp7202 radio, donloaded, the instuction manuals for both the radio and the gyro, set them up as best I could, (the gyro instructions really didnt have a page for the jr radio), when I start in a hover the tail takes a hard (and I mean hard) left, Ive tried adjusting the gain but it doesnt seem to effect it, can any body help me with this set up, I dont realy care about any 3 d at this time just looking to hover and forward flight, below are the settings fot the gyro and heli. any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

Chris

Well...... I found the answer to my own question on this websight : http://www.raptortechnique.com (http://www.raptortechnique.com/) seems as though I had the gyro reversed to what it should be.

yes, I was going to say that. I've seen that often - people have asked me to fix their TREX, and I find the gain all the way up... when it's just reversed.

also, to get the BEST performance out of the gyro and to make the Tail rotor servo last here's how the gyro should be setup.

ATV both left and right should be between 110-120% w/o any binding of the TR slider
AVCS (heading hold) and Normal mode gains should be between 35-37% NO MORE NO LESS

this will give the best performance out of this gyro and the most longevity of the tr (tail rotor) servo

Bob sets up a 601 for the Logo 14 in this video. Most steps should transfer to your Raptor.
