Another 5003D hits the air...

Well I got my first few flights in - awesome heli. This is my first big heli and I am stoked!

I am having a little trouble getting the CC85HV Gov High mode dialed in. RIght now I am running firmware 1.55, my gov gain is set to 50% and I am getting pulsating about every 2-3 seconds of so. It also shimmies a lot when I give the pitch a hard stop. I am running a 1910-1Y(H) with a 23T pinion on the 0.5 gear with 555 mains. Does anyone have any suggestions as to gain values etc. that I should start with. I was hoping for a HS of 2100-2200.

I have a set of hard dampeners that I thought might help out with the shimmy after a hard stop, any thoughts?

Lower your gain to around 15.

Yes i had your ESC and motor on my sold out Trex600 8s and with the gain at 33% the motor in hovering goes up and down in rpm. When i put it to 20% all ok.

Now when my L5003D comes i will try this combo again but with mod .7 on 15 or 16T
