I found someone selling a NIB X9303 radio w/o servos for just 520, is that a really cheap price? I plan on reselling it for a profit.

It's only a good price if it includes the R921 Receiver.
I have seen the two together for $564.
The receiver is worth $170 alone, so if you have to add that to your package, youll be way overpriced.

Oops, the one on ebay didnt have that reciever, no wonder!
Thanks for the info on Todds models, I'll have to remember that.

By the way, how much would a used DX7 tx only be worth to sell?

You have to add it to your cart.
I have found them at a few places for under $550.
And Todds is the best price at $529.

Todd's has 'em at $529 w/9ch Rx. w/9ch Rx and 4 servos, it's $629.

Spoke to Todd this morning. He's expecting some in next week, but he's not sure how many he's going to get. I've got my order placed, just have to wait until he's got stock to fill my order.

Your better off without the 821 servos :)

Somewhat concerning is that he said they were expecting them this week when I called last week.

Maybe it's just a recording which always says "next week" ;)

Ordered, and waiting too!

Hmm.. He did say he could get a 72MHz 9303 in just a couple days and that JR is "trickling" these things to market. Either way, I'm happy to wait (unless the LHS can match the price) since I've got a DX7 and a 9C to play with right now.

Used DX7:
I'd look at it this way. If you figure you can get the full system for $300, sell the new AR7000 for $85, the servos for $70, and the RX battery for $10, a new TX can be had for $135. You would need to price your TX accordingly. That being said, I have seen the DX7 TX go for $180 used.

I got an update from Todd's Models today that they received just a few of each model (I think he said like 6 heli versions). I also got the implication that the order list is under 40 deep for each.

Maybe might be able to wrap one for Christmas, barely ;)

Donalds hobby does the same 529$ deal Tx Rx no servos. I had to wait for 4 weeks but it was worth that to save the 100$. Same deal, add it to the cart and the new price will appear. I found Donald great to deal with. Free shipping also.
cheers
