NEW pack charge [Archive]

I just got a new 4000mha 7.4v RX pack it only took 97mha when I went to charge it. it did not say per inst that it came fully charged. is this norm do they come charged from Factory? I used a triton charger

I think they test the packs by charging them partially +- prior to selling them. I will find out for sure tomorrow. My packs always come charged plenty to setup the heli, which I really like and is a good thing! :)

The one I got came fully charged.

The packs are usually fully charged are close to it. They charge the cells before assembly to match them before building the packs.

I would guess your not using the charger from Duralite to charge the pack since you know how many milliamps went into the pack. With the Duralite charger it would probably not even have charged the pack at all since it was already charged.
