i have owned three GSR 260's in the past two years, the first
was a total loss due to a reciever failer at altiude in the new orleans
area following hurricane katrina, the second was lost when the company trailer and all equp...was stolen from our office downtown -however we did recover the trailer the following week, how nice of them hu- and the third is still
ticking away just fine. and no i dont gamble hehe

the heli that was stolen was under constuction at the time therefore
the engine was not in the mechanic it was in the office inside
its zenoah box. all three were purchased brand new from john.
i just now noticed that it is a 23! not a twenty six! and the box says
its a twenty six! kinda funny right?

im not complaining or trying to insinuate anything, just though
i would share this with all freaks in the world. i think im going to
break it in and hopefully have a smoother running engine...

Wow Ron...
Things come in threes?.. well.. then your bad luck may be finished revolving...
By the way. I see you are a GSR Guy... I am stuck between the Condor and GSR.. hopefully gonnah be gettin something together real soon.

Good luck with the 23... should be a bit smoother... I would say that is a silver lining.

they were not perchased at the same time and the theft
was covered by our insurance, although it did take awhile
for them to do so. if your dead locked between a GSR or a Condor take
the condor. good clutch, parts are easy to find, Bill Meador,
i have alot of respect for him and in the past he has been
more than willing to help myself and others.

some parts for the GSR have been hard to find and that can be very
aggrevating! it has been a good preformer though...

I've owned a GSR and would never do it again. It's an ok heli but parts and US tech support can be a real *****.

If you must fly a gasser try something other than a GSR.

yes i agree with you on that, i am interested in selling it but am currently shopping
for a 600 size electric and the GSR will have to stick around for a little longer:roll:.

it will be a after i get another ship in the air that i will advertise it for sale, but
id let it go if someone wants. id like to try a condor but Bergen's service reputation
sounds pretty good:)

I think DebianDog has a Condor AP ship for sale.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck, but as was already stated, it most likely will not continue.

im still puzzled as to why i got a 231. the GSR isnt supposed to come with that...
right?

im trying to track down a fan, hub, and clutch so i can try it out though:rolling

Not a problem if you want the 26cc. Just send the 231 back and we will ship you a 260. We get about 20 GSR 's a month and they all come with 260's but some guys want the 231 so we swap them out. The box should have said 231 on it though. Either way I fly both engines so if you want the 260 let me know.

BTW we stock every part for the GSR. If you really look at the heli and not the BS some sling that want to come off as big boys, there's nothing that compares. I would be flying it if there was.

Custom Glass JR high lift blades/ Full fiberglass fuse so the heli's easy to see/ 4130 main shaft with 4 bolts to hold the head on for safety/ 7 layer carbon boom/ push pull on everything/adjustable swash plate timing/Strongest frame in the industry 3mm 7075T6/custom weighted paddles to make the heli fly stable. Not a 3D conversion for AP an industrial heli built for AP use from the start.

It's kind of funny we fly at least 15 of these heli's all the time and one guy bashing it well seems to want you to think he owns one.

At the end of the day we fly this heli for about evey aspect of the business you could imagine and it has never failed one time. Day or night, never had a failure and we are talking 1000's of hours.

John, you really need to rise above your personal issues with one individual, but you seem happy to brandish the sword at every opportunity. Have you ever wondered whether simply ignoring him might not be a better decision for your business?

Tony I understand what you are saying and agree. You notice most of my post was about the GSR. You personally may not think so and may not like it but I have customers call and did yesterday after I posted to say welcome to HF and glad you set the record straight on him.

I've have at least 20 customers PM me on RR saying how they like to see the company President "not that the title means much I do what everyone else does" tell it like it is about a person that is attacking the product or me personally.

There's more to the story then you know but I know where you are coming from and will let the boy posts what he wants until he gets out of hand. Fair enough?

Sorry it went off topic.

He's just posting his personal opinion about the GSR. John, you were never mentioned so why the response? You can't attack somebody if they have a different opinion on a product that you sell.

I have no problem if you have a different opinion. He can't even afford to purchase a GSR so he buys one used that had been crashed then repaired as cheap as possible by the seller. Even at that DJ posted how he love the heli it was great. Remember how he bragged on it?

You haven't dealt with this kid. He wants to come off as someone who is really big in this industry but the real truth is he doesn't even do this full time. He has very little funding. The only reason he posts bad about GSR's is me not the heli. I don't do business with people I can't trust. He has cost me money from day one so I refuse to do business with him. He ordered an expensive camera I think to get pics of and then said he didn't and begged me to take it back which I did. Remember he said it looked used and was opened? Then it was like new pease take it back I have to have that CC for something else.

If you did a shoot for me and you gave me the pictures and I didn't pay for them but bragged how good they were!!!!! Then you said would you mind paying for them and I said they suck and post BS about the quality of your work? Now what if you found out I really don't have much money and I'm all show and really not what people think. HOW WOULD YOU FEEL? That is what I have been dealing with.

At this point I really don't care there is enough behind the scenes going on to let new guys see what real and whats not.

Enough of the BS. Take it somewhere else please.
