What receiver are you guys using to control your CP with a dx6/dx6i/dx7?

I have a lot of interferrance and cant wait for the B400 to come out (have it on order)

I am using the AR6200 with a DX7. I set up the curves similar to my T-Rex 450. By dialing down/up the swash setting I can set it up for quick or soft action. With the additional upgrades I have made this is a great ship for working on basic technique in my back yard. Not near as twitchy.

I have 2 cx2's was wondering if I ripped out the receiver from one and installed in the pro, I should be about to control the pro with that stock tx from the cx2 no?

and with no interference, yes?

or should I just buy a good receiver (which one?) and wait for the dx6i that will come with the B400?

The cx2 transmitter will not work with the Blade CP. The receiver will work, but since the transmitter does the mixing, only a Spektrum/JR Radio with DSM2 will work. The DX6 will not work as it does not use DSM2. The DX6i will work as will the JR x9303 and also the spektrum DX7.

I thought the 3-in-1 did the mixing???

no, if the 3 in 1 did the mixing then you would not be able to fly it with a different transmitter. I currently fly my CX2 with a DX7 transmitter and fly the Blade CP with a Futaba T7CHP transmitter, the heli's both are bone stock.

Hey Chris, noticed you’re running three fly bar weights on each side. I’m curious why you like that setup? Seems like most pilots like to reduce the fly bar weight…
