Spectra-G Gyro 601 setup help?

I'm setting up a 601 gyro for the first time and have some questions. I have read that the Linkage Limit setting on the on the Gyro control amp should be above 100%. How is this possible? I can't even get past 50% before I get binding. All my rudder linkages are setup at 90 degrees and are linear. My Travel adjustments on my 9303 are at 100% left and right. Do I need to lower my left and right Travel Adjustments on my 9303 radio first so there is no binding (if yes, should these values be equal for both left and right), then go back and adjust the Linkage Limit setting on the on the Gyro control amp to be over 100% and equal for both left and right?

I changed the threaded ball position to about 10mm from the center of the servo. I had it at 19.5mm before :oops: Now I can get my Linkage Limit setting on the on the Gyro control amp to about 120% left and right. :D

Do like Dash said, or basically set the servo wheel so the throw is just a little less than the TR slider will travel, should be ok to set the gyro as recommended on Jason Kraus's site then. I've found I have to run a higher gain than my Nitro heli's .. Gassers are TORQUE MONSTERS :wink:
