I have 2 RX packs of 4.8v 600mah.
To get a pack of 4.8v 1200mah do literally join the leads red to red and black to black.Or would that give me a pack of 9.6v 600mah.

Yes. Wire the packs in parallel (red to red, black to black). That will double the storage capacity (MAH).

Thanks for the info.I wanted to make sure.
I did not want to put 9.6 into my RX and series and paralel get me confused.
I am setting up heli on bench and the 600mah dont last long hopefully together might work till i get to LHS.
