I got the information below from an email announcement. It sounds like a winner to me as long as the price is reasonable.

Once again, FMA redefines the capabilities of cutting edge charging technology.
We're putting the final touches on our new 10s charger design, and look to go into full production and
delivery of this powerful charger by mid-January time frame.
Look for these features and more when the Cellpro 10s Charger comes to market > Includes all the features of the popular Cellpro 4s Charger plus:
- Up to 10A Max Charge Current
- Continuous Power 300W (estimate)
- Charges 1 Pack of 1s-10s or 2 Packs of 1s-5s Simultaneously
- Includes Start/Stop Button
- Backlit Liquid Crystal Display
- Supports 2-way P.C. Interface
- Displays Individual Cell Internal Resistance to 0.1 mohm Accuracy (Battery Quality Indicator)
- Drive the Charger from the P.C.
- Access Advanced Features from the P.C. (Setup Custom Presets, Adjust Speaker Volume, LCD Contrast, and More)

One of the CellPro 4S features is concurrent display of all cell voltages. I wonder if the 10S will really have this feature.

The picture that came with it shows a small enough display that I doubt it will do that concurrently. Maybe a way to cycle through them like the TP-1010 does?

Yes it will. The display will show a total of 4 cells. If the pack has more then 4 cells, the screen will flash to show you the next set and so on. You are able to set the time for how long you want the flash to display. This is done automatic if the pack has over 4 cells.

Great. Thanks.
Anybody has any picture of the 10S?

Nice, it has a real enclosure.
Any guess for its initial price? My guess is $139.95.

What I like about the BalancePro HD is that it only has the features that I need (6s at 10amps), multiple safety checks like making sure the individual cell voltages add up to equal the main lead charge voltage(for cell count), balancer charges the individual cells to balance instead of discharging them to balance, and one button to start the whole thing. It is a very simple charger to use. If it only had an LCD it would be top notch in my book and I would pay another $30 or maybe $35 for that.
I just hope it doesn't turn out to be an expensive charger.
Edit: My guess is $169.95.

Well, if I had to guess, I'd think more in the $200 ballpark. That beats the competition heftily, yet gives them a probable good margin to work with.

The reason I don't think it will be that high is that for LiPo charging(my only requirement) the BalancePro HD is better and MUCH cheaper than all the chargers out there within a $300 price range for balancing in my opinion. The reason I say it is better is because of all the safety features, easy of use, and charging the individual cells to balance them. I think that is proven by the fact that they have one button only to charge. Most other chargers require you to confirm cell count or watch leds to make sure the cell count is correct. The BalancePro HD just works with one button.
Another reason I think it will be around 169 is that Hyperion just came out with a 6s at 9amp balance charger around that price with computer hookup, etc. Since FMADirect seems to be able to produce products cheaper I think the 10s will be around that same price.
Who knows though :). Keep the guesses coming. Someone is bound to be right.

Also, they don't need to have additional markup for the LHS since they only sell direct.

Im excited about this charger because my next purchase is going to be a 500-size (i.e. trex 500 or msh 500) heli and it will be really nice to have a charger than can do 2x 5s 3700's at the same time at over 1C charge rate or any 4S batteries 2 at a time too. I currently use a cellpro 4s charger and its awesome , just that with more helis and batteries, charging time is at a premium and id like to be able to multi task

What I really want to see is a polycharge4 for 6s at 10A on each port :). Charge four 6s batteries at once... yummy.

That would be a 1000W charger!

Ok.. I would settle for 7.5A each port :). I found a 1000W power supply for around $175 too. That would be one sweet setup. I would buy that 4 port charger in a heartbeat. I currently plan to buy a few BalancePro HDs to supplement my BC8 and get that power supply. I would like this 10s charger but if it is even $169 it won't be worth it to me because the balance pro HD at $104 works perfect for what I want. I only need one charger to do the special features like storage charge, etc.

Well I don't know what it will cost, but Dave from Hyperion has said they are working on a dual-port 6s/10A 500W charger, something like 2 x EOS610i in a single case.

That would satisfy me as long as the price was not too much more than 2 Balancepro HDs. That would give me 3 chargers (one of them being the BC8) and only need to carry 2 chargers to the field. The nice thing about the balance pro chargers is that it is very simple to charge. Connect the main leads and balance plug to the Balance Pro HD connector and then press one button to start it.

Looks like the retail price is $189. I will probably look for a BalancePro HD more than likely. It would be great if the dual 6s port charger from Hyperion were out and at a price somewhere around $225. I would buy that.

You can see a photo and download the manual for the 0610iDuo here: http://media.hyperion.hk/dn/eos/
No price or release date yet. Unlike the Cellpro10s, which can do two packs of 2s-5s or a single pack of 6s-10s, the Duo won't do a single pack above 6s. It is 360W/10A output but only with a 15V input supply. For max charge rate you would be better off with two 0610iNet units at 250W each, but of course that is likely to cost more than the Duo.

Thanks for the link and info I didn't see that one. If i did get a hyperion charger I would end up getting a higher voltage power supply (24v). 350 watts on the charger would give around 8amps on each battery (350/22.2) which would be fine for me. I would eventually probably get 2 of these if they work well and get a 1000 watt power supply.
As long as the price is reasonable and not near double a 0610inet, So far I like the eos0610iDUO. I really wanted the fmadirect 10s but the price is a bit much to me for 6s when the BalancePro HD is only $105, $85 to get an LCD is more than I am willing to pay for it. I realize that this a new design and has more features than just an LCD over the BalancePro HD but for me that is the only feature that I am really interested in over the BalancePro HD. If I ever thought I would need more than 6s charging I would get the cellpro 10s no doubt. Hopefully they will come out with a BalancePro HD 6s with an LCD for much cheaper sometime in the near future for those that only need 6s.
I wonder how long before the Duo becomes available.

Anyone notice that the BalancePro HD does not seem to be listed on their online ordering site anymore? I thought they were going to still sell it.
