Got my Bergen Intrepid EB tonight!

And I'm just wrapping up for tonight after 4 hours or so. Mounted the engine and the left frame side is in and it looks great so far. I'm pretty happy with most of this kit. My buddy got his yesterday and he's been moving along pretty quick with it as well.

We had one minor parts problem on my buddies heli so I gave him my constant drive TR gear since he was at that point and I wasn't there yet. I'm sure a replacement will come in soon enough.

Of course, I'm close to that assembly stage now so I'm going to start building out some other parts in advance.

The tail rotor gear box is massive and rugged, I love it!

what G26 did ya get? Does Bergen sell the tuned up Hanson engs with the EB?

Sweet kit Sar! I cant wait to get mine! I think I'll get the kit with no eng and build it then get a hanson eng of some kind

we both actually got the unmodified g26's, and installed the canfield balancers as shown above to help with any vibes, as for that part problem we had, let me tell you bergen is great i called and new was shipped asap with no questions. it came today, now thats service. they are great. it's a really nice kit we should both be done by tomorrow night and flying this weekend....

This has been a fun kit to put together so far. I'm definetly glad we have some experience building helis though, it helps out in some of the more difficult parts of the assembly.

As Mike mentioned we went with the stock G26 engines. We're going to see how these work and if we get too many vibes we're going to send them off to Hanson to get fixed up right.

Does anyone have any suggestions for the final setup stage? Tips and hints sort of suggestions.
