they all using hitec hs 5245 MG , i believer Andy using 9650 in 1 of his 500. 9650 will work better, from what i heard 5245 will need spacer, because their mounting pos. is higher than 9650. Kevin once said that 500 design for 9257 ???

today is scazy hehehe,, most of us got rought landing or crash,, only Finless got smooth flying. I learned my lesson, i will ever fly in wind this strong again :) . been practice funnel last few week.. tried it today, all failed.. even with the 600 (which fight the wind better) my 450 came down hard.. blew 2 platic main bearing block , also blow tail gear all the way down, time to upgrade to metal bearing block :) .

on the good side , i done my first high auto today, the wind help little bit i guess, it land so raw, and tail-in auto so ugly hehe. i will spend more time this week practice auto,, when i am good with tail-in , i will doing side auto then.

hope the wind calm down tomorrow Airboss, so we can fly, i can handle strong wind :(

I think Tom will join us next week, saw his 500 today hehe

You can just using hitec HS225 MG it is none digital verison of HS5245 MG . It share case, gear, torque speed almost same as 5245 for 1/2 price

Gy401/ 9254 or 9257 nor jr 3400.. All u needs is trex 600 tail servo plate for standart servo. :)

if you want autos you got it my freind, I was doing outa sight autos on sunday, went so high couldnt see heli..then cut power ..we will be at AP..nitro still outa commision.

Yeah, it gets real muddy after a rain. Probably won't be able to fly there for a week after this heavy rain.

I've flown there twice with my boss, he's a member there.

I'm limited in where I can fly my nitro plane.

Looking at going to Whittier Narrows or Santa Fe Dam to fly it. They are both close to me (I'm in Covina).

Airboss has to have NORAD check the location of his machine when he begins his autos.

A little further and his machine will enter orbit...
