I just wanted everyone to know. Airboss and I went to the secret water towers to fly today and the wicked management lady saw us flying and called the police. She told them and I quote" these guys are here flying those r/c helicopters. I am scared". So we are changing batteries and here comes a tank with swat on the side. They had m-16 and crazy swat gear. They had us step away from our helis and lay on the ground. It was crazy. I have never been in jail before until today. I should of listened to lennar.

P.S. this didnt really happen. In fact we flew and things were great besides the wind!!!!

P.S.S. I do find it funny that somebody put up some phony no tresspassing signs. Remember that those signs apply to everyone including the people that are trying to hide this spot.

Man, just sold my Mini-Titan so I can buy the Gauzar Mars 480 for $199 which I just ordered tooo. It looks soo sick guys. Can't wait to put it together. My wife thinks it looks like a dinosaur, but I think its sick looking.

I still say thats one UGLY heli, i just think it needs skids and a canopy, what happens if you have a sliding landing???? will it nose over???autos will be tricky.i am leaving now,, goodbye.

I've always liked the Gazaurs. The Mars always seemed to look like an alien from the Aliens movies to me. Of the Posieden or the Mars, I'd go with the Mars as well.

Supposed to be a great heli. You should like this flavor as well. I'm interested in hearing how the build goes.

I still haven't flown the GY401 I got from you. Hope it works :D

Hey Aox, still haven't used the 401? Man, get that sucker up and and at least hovering!!! u know I sold that sucker, and kept a Logictech instead, but ended up selling the Logictech tooo. Should of just kept the 401. I'm a sucker for new stuff, especially if it looks HOT.

I bet if I let Airboss fly my spaceship Mars 480 heli, he'll want one tooo!!! Its bigger than a Trex 450, but smaller than a Trex 500!!!

Yea, its called a 480 size heli. I think it uses something like 350mm blades, but can also run on 325's.

Airboss, I though you said AP today. I went there don't fly much, my 450 motor fried again :( and my 600 got loose battery tray while Kevin helped me fine tune the 611 .

You should see bikeandboat, he looked like a ninja with fullbody biker suit ride his motorcircle with heli packed on the back :)

so basically its a pumped 450 trex, whats the point? its either a 450 or a 500 and those still dont add up to one 500 mikado.my logo is as fast as my synergy and handles like a 450 when 3D,ing.stay away from bastard sized helis. look at rotor selections for that class heli.

Lowflyer, make sure you add 2 more screws on that battery tray before you fly it again. I almost try to go invert on that thing without the canopy... would have been a big exposition.;)

So I went by the field today.There was about 10-12 people all flying past the NO TRESPASSING SIGNS. no arrests no jail. Can't we all fly at the local field. Do we have to act like dogs? I pee'd here first so now it's my field. NO you don't own it . It's everyone field to fly on, if they want to take the chance.

I'm thinking about taking the local AMA rules and insurance over to the bad management lady and getting permission to fly here since everyones acting like we can't fly here.

3. Fools from the internet forums calling the city complaining how dangerous it is.

We has this happen one month at a SCHC Funfly in Pasadena. Dam forum fools from RC Groups called up the city of Pasadena and told them we were flying at the local park illegally. Come the day of the funfly, some city official was at the field and told us somebody had called to complain and that we needed a city permit to have an event there. But, he did let us fly there that day and was cool about it.

Since then we got a private field to fly on, so now we are untouchable and the city can't do a dam thing about it!!!! :)

private property is the best. no permit required for non profit use, only reg is disturbing the peace. if its noisy they take it away. ther are about 10 decent flying areas in the oc area, most are E power only, but for those few niro spots we need to keep them clean and safe and by all means share them with our fellow RCers. all it takes is one jealous dork to screw it all up!!!!! lets go flying.
