Should of got a shot of the new dragon on my Raptor, I'm going to put the new composite canopy on by next weekend, I just need to paint it and I"ve been lazy, more like I don't really know what I want to do as far as paint scheme is concerned. I've always custom painted everything I've ever owned and some times come up with cool ideas. We'll see if I can get a hit with the RAptor.
On my last flight of the day I got the RAptor engine up to speed, was WAY TOO rich but that's because it's a near new top end and I put in a new fuel control valve that has made it possible to tune it right. Got the mode1 and mode2 headspeeds set at 1850 and 1910 aprox give or take. It was too rich to even pull those headspeeds at first and after constantly leaning it out I got the headspeeds and the temps I was looking for. About 175 deg engine temp at it's hottest spot, the cylinder, the head stays cooler. I don't want to risk seizing up another top end so that's good enough.
Last Raptor 90 flight rocked!
Never got the 450 tail sorted....:thinking I think my pitch slider is worn out and rightly so, it's got a ton O flights on it.
I'll be working on getting a Trex 600N soon, the TT53H is just sitting there and it's begging me to put it into a heli, it needs a home. :smokin:

Yep ypu guys really missed Arbor man... WHAT A BLAST. Carson field was closed due to Bike Races and that gang came out to Arbor. Marty Kuhns put an a awesome show! Many other pilots came too and it was just a freakin blast! It was like a unplanned fun fly! In fact many said it was like a fun fly....

Hehe, did u see those nipples on my tx ? In that case I will blame the nipples then :), my thumb more addict to them than the heli hehe.
I am fortune to able get some tip and trick out of Fireup and Andy , I am getting into figure 8 funnel next week. Hope I don't crash too much hehe, I dig enought info for practice that move from Andy .

it looked like your Tx had condoms on the sticks. your supposed to move the sticks forward and side ways not up and down.jk.
BigT great practice this weekend, we should see nose in hover in a couple weeks.have fun.

Anyone got a spare tail push roll for trex 600 E ? I bought new red boom to rep0air my 600 but the included pull roll is too long for 600 E :(

Airboss, I only need the music wire that connect the tail servo arm to tail pitch slide. The wire that sold with boom, in my case it is for trex600 Nitro not trex 600E, which too long for boom servo mount

sure hope the weather is nice for the weekend.I am 1 belcrank from finishing the #2 synergy. used the Hyper drive TT , and it made tail assembly soooo easy. why dont all helis have this awsome TT drive. you guys with N9s need this set up.

Saturday my forecast says "Partly cloudy with a high of 69... no rain".
Sunday has rain in the forecast... atleast here in the San Fernando Valley area. :thumbup:

nope, the trex is still in about 15 pieces (its improved from being in 150 pieces last week :roll:)
still need boom, landing gear, main gear, tail blades, main blades, tail control system, servo gears, flybar, flybar paddles:roll:, bottom frame plate.....
you get the point. Plus the antenna pulled out of my RX, and my castle 35 is fried. I needa send castle a package...
Just got some new Radix for the Mini Titan
Got some new battery orings, a FP 5000 mah 6s pack, gonna mount the 515s on the Logo.
Have a Kontroniks Jazz esc showing up today for the Logo hopefully, so I won't be afraid to kick it into idle up. Gotta do more with it than "fly around like a news chopper" eh Mitch?
Although I fly a damn smooth news chopper :D
Been working on inverted on the sim. Getting better, though not as fast as I want. Grrr.. patience...
Will be at Irvine Saturday. Missed you the last couple times Airboss. Got there later in the afternoon. I got my own table and chair so I can quit usin yours :D I think I still may try to whore out some tailgate battery time though :D
