you guys might want to use Fireup's colors. he uses flourescent pink and it stands out very good with all sky and background.
I'm hanging out with the family today no flying for me, maybe some sim time.If I fly it will be at the schoolyard across the street cause it should be empty.

Fireup tail r great. Love them on 600. Align coming full line of bright color matching tail/pad/lg for 450 -500-600 helis. I used algin btight orange on 500 . And fireup ' orange on 600 .. It good to see in air.

On tail down funnel, for me most importand thing control tail pointing. It good indeas to have bright color tail and blade, make thing easy to learn

Dang I was hoping to get my heli up in the air today but I'll do some sim time just like boss. Lowflyer I'll make sure to bring camera next week. Helismith go with Pink... pink is the new black color for the 20th century!!!! Boss I was about to buy the whole nitro kit for $550 but i decided not to. I'm going to just fix it up and save my $$$$ for a 90 size. Take care boys and see you guys on the flying field next week. Peace out...:cheers

Do you have a Trex 450?

Heck of a lot cheaper to fix and a great heli to learn on, hell, I was stoked to get a Trex 450 and back then it was the bomb to me. :YeaBaby:

Trex 450 is super heli, but it not easy to learn on small heli. Once you can master your 3D skill on the 450 , I guess you can master every 60 - 90 helis.

Only battery is cheap. The main blade is about $30 different.

The weird thing about Align heli. The parts price on 450 , 500 and 600 all about the same

I've had the same carbon tail boom on my 450 through 3 or is it 4 crashs and it's still ok. Funny part is that I got it from somebody else that had cracked it and said it was no good. Works fine. I put a little epoxy on it but not much at all, I didn't have another boom to put on it at the time and if it's not broke, don't fix it.

How many times did mike crash his 450 in one flight? I rest my case. We should of had that on video. They take a beating and still keep flying. Besides, it's a red headed step child once you have a bigger heli you tend to beat the crap outta the 450 and you would never do that with your 50 or 90

Where do get your blade man, I am unable to get a pair of carbon for 500 anywhere :(. The heli direct fiber blade toooo flex. Fly like crap.

I am grounded my 500 now due shortage of main blade

AirBoss I found out what cause my heli to crash!!! Yesterday I took my heli up and right when it start to take of it lost control but it landed real quick. I call JR support at Horizon Hobby and they said it might be the remote receiver that is bad because only the receiver had a solid light and the little remote receiver was blinking in and out the off no light at all. That's why it cause my heli receiver to be out of sync at times. So the bottom line was they told me to send it in and they will replace it with a new one. Turn around time is 10 bussiness day!!!! I can't wait that long i'm going to just by a new one and keep that one for my 90 when I get it back.

thats what I would do too. its better to have a spare, you could buy the whole Rx or just the remote. and how is the gyro? they dont take too many hits before they act up.

just pick up an AR7000 and you should be good to go, did you try to re bind your receiver after the crash?

I wont be flying with you all on saturday. going to race my motorcycle at cougar butte out in johnson valley. should be a good time and if I dont wreck myself then I will fly sunday. have today off and may go flying at arbor.
