Airboss, try the multi gov E version on your 600 and logo you will love. The best $100 upgrade ever, it turn the crap align esc and motor into a first class jazz

thanks Lowflyer but I still beleive that E motors run best at 100% . and if it dont work I blame the battery. never used an align esc but have plenty of flights on the CChv 110. I am no longer flyng Logo's, sold them to halo3.

You'll like the 8.0 gearing, Good initial pop but will bog if you mess up collective management. manage it right it you'll love it.

Since my motor YS91SR has a lower power band than others, it's a long stroke motor, I need to choose a lower gear ratio to push the headspeed up while the engine still stays in its power band. I'm flying 7.75 right now but turns out it is too low. The next step is 8.0... USPS please deliver my stuff tomorrow!

Carb smart is smart.. I like the way it maintains temp and mixture.but you had a great point about EG temp being much more accurate source to measure, I think the EG type could be the next gen of mixture control.

Well, I got the rest of my parts last night, gyro is back from futaba.

Come to find out, I don't have everything I need. :arggg: I'm getting burnt out. I think now is the time to walk away and just let this crap sit for a while.

There is a downloadable manual for the Raptor, only one I can find are from different sources and they are the same and the part numbers don't match what the online vendors part numbers have listed. Hope that makes sense, bottom line is I can't find a manual that matchs the part numbers the vendors use. I've got bearings that don't go anywhere on my heli, this is the problem of having a converted 60/90. THE 60 IS NOT THE SAME AS A 90.

TODAY WAS THE DAY! Irvine was HOPPIN!

I showed up to like 20 cars packed into an 8 car space. I didn't have anywhere to park and was getting mad, but did a uturn, drove around through a parking lot, and about 12 of the cars left!

When they all left, Long, Jim, Mike, Fred, and Rob were left! Woot! I think it was the planker crowd, getting disgusted and leaving.

Man, what a great day! There was awesome flying by all! Synergy's were rocking the house, Logo's were hopping and boppin, little 450's spazzing out all over. It was fantastic! Only a couple crashes as of when I left about 15 min ago. We had some more plankers show up and start flying around us, and we grumbled a bit, but managed to play nice. Hopefully we can keep the positive vibe up.

The Logo today felt like a 450. I put on the 3D paddles, instead of the heavy DX paddles, and that woke it up a bit. 515's instead of 500s woke it a bit more. I held off on the 550s and the 22T pinion for now, and am going to take the steps gradually. 550's next on 19T, then I will install the Jazz I scored, put the 22T in, and set up a governed headspeed of about 2250. Picked up a Skytach so I can finally check my RPM's

I freakin LOVE my mini titan. I changed the ball links over to the "high rate" locations in the Kasama head last weekend, upped the swash percentages in the radio, and added a 5 percent touch of expo. She's flipping like a little mad beast now.

Had my longest inverted hovers today so far, and my first autos on the Logo and the MT from higher than 6 feet! No casualties reported!

I am stoked, happy, fully of endorphins from my adrenaline rushes and basking in a sun-based vitamin D glow. It was AWESOME to see everyone, and I can't WAIT to fly again!!! Hopefully be out there tomorrow!

I got a bunch of nice pics I'll post later. I now have to go perform Honey Do's and other womanly obligations :D

Got the part number problem figured out, the part numbers listed in the assembly are not part numbers, you have to go to the bottom of the manual to find actual part numbers. :arggg: :o

Got the rest of the parts from Robins hobby today and started putting it back together, the parts I was needing was stopping me from doing anything to it. The main bearings on the 60 are smaller than the 90 bearings and I used some out of a pack labeled for the Raptor 30. I regret buying the Raptor used/second hand and not being told the truth that it was a 60 converted to a 90.

Glad I bought the 600N new after this BS.

Sounds like a fun day at Irvine, wish my heli wasn't down. I'll be using Whittier to get it sorted before I come out for a day at Irvine. If we can still fly there, It's not looking like it.
