I'll be out at Black Starr tomorrow morning at 9:30 to get my badge, and fly a couple packs.

Then I'll be back out Saturday morning to hang out and fly.

Trex450 arrived yesterday. As much as I like my MT, the silver carbon trex is rather good looking. I'll get it flying tonight, and we'll see how she does.

Should have a little flycamone2 flash cam saturday too, take some airborne video of the Hooligans.

we welcomed a new heli pilot to our hooligan club this morning, welcome AXE3D. he showed us some very skilled handling of his trex 600n. I got to fly a 50 planker today and made many orbits on knife edge but cg was to far forward to get any good 3D flying. then my left hand started to fall assleep so we lit up the helis.see you guys on saturday for sure

Hooligans, it was great to finally meet you all. I greatly appreciate the help with the setup, she flies great now! Figure it will take a few more tanks to get back in the groove with her at this new level of responsiveness. I will work to cut and crop the photos from today and get them to an uploadable size for posting. Again, thanks to all for the great support!

It feels like Monday talking about the action over the weekend, I guess we all skiped work to enjoy the nice weather.
got 2 boxes in the mail today, a YS61ST2 and a Hatory pipe to go on the 600N, got the hub and the crank modefied and fitted and time to work on the engine mount, hopping to have it complete before I go back to work tonight.

My Synergy N9 is ready for the Las Vegas funfly. I will be leaving at 6am tomorrow and should be there soon enough to catch up with some final flights of the competition.

I just repainted the canopy and I did improved!

New 128T maingear and 16T pinion (8:1 gear ratio) are now ready for testing. It should be super powerful that gear ratio promises to be the best for the YS91SR.

did you modify the shape of the canopy? looks cool and an airscoop up front.
Fireup, its not pavement just compressed rock and sand but the end result would be the same. it doesnt matter what the ground is made of cause it is still harder than AIR.lol

First day at OCMA with my badge today! I met Ron out there at 9:30 and paid my dues and showed off my shiny red fire extinquisher, and went through the process. Ron's a good guy. We talked about the old days of Mile Square Park, and them getting shut out of there, and the 2.5 million dollar legal process that went to the State of California Supreme Court to try to keep the developers from turning Mile Square into another golf course. Like OC needed another damn golf course.

So I flew out my two DN's and my TP on the freakin insano ballistico scorpioned mini titan. That thing has more power now than I know what to do with. I love it though.

I flew out my maxamps pack in the logo in between the MT flights, and for my final logo flight, I duct taped a little FlyCamOne2 onto the battery and left the canopy off. The flycam is a little flash video/picture cam that takes up to 2 gig SD cards. I was testing it out last night and wouldn't you know it, I got pulled over by a cop for making a right turn from the number 2 lane like a dink. Anyway... that's another story...

I taped the flycam to the Logo battery and came up with this!
