It's rocky hard dirt, very cementy yes. Your pack would be grilled, taco'd, digested and excreted.

Lots of grassiness over by the large plane runway, but that's for the big nitro planes.

Watching Aox air video.... Kevin that flying area is going to destroy your heli if you crash there! The dirt looks very hard packed. Is it like cement buys or what?

I know.:( Maybe we can try that first Irvine field by that farm where we first fly with Airboss and Mike. At lease the durt there is soft and may be lucking and land on the soft bushes.:)

This field isn't THAT bad.. the heli pad is asphalty cement and the rest is gravel and rock.

It's so nice and wide open though, and no one bothering you. The weather is perfect right now.

that spot got farmed and stuff is growing. but i did find another spot not to far from there. I think you should take a drive in that area and you will see it.

I heard the same thing , havnt been there . over by Gyro hobby is a couple nice spots , take a look. OCMA is paradise, no hassle flying. even the plankers dont get in the way, its a good set up in need of some shade. but I hear thats in the works.

last weekend there was a dog show taking up the whole park till 5pm on Saturday. There hasn't been any soccer practice in the afternoons all week so It might be open this Saturday. I will post if I find out in the morning.

Ok guys just completed the 600N engine upgrade, made a custom carburator barrel extention, mounted the pipe set the linkage and she's ready to rock.
what the F Kevin and Bob are you guys comming to OCMA maniana?

The prototype already has the carb smart servo mount on it. :thumbup:
