Hey Aox, nice work with the Flycamone, I just recently got one of those, I noticed your also had the wobble effect going. Mine was doing that too, not sure whats up with that.
Me and my YoYo are looking into OCMA action, live real close and from your ariel photography looks like a sweet place :-)

OCMA is a good place... low key, and your left alone in the heli area.... you can do whatever you want. Right in front of you, over the heli pads... whatever... no one gives you guff..

AIRBOSS... I was flying alot of DCU planes. to.. dragon fly's and super dragon fly's. They were buddies of mine.. Had an original penetrator *the original slope scale p51* and yes... The SNIPE !!! funnest airplane I ever flew... I have one, but its the new CF version. still a blast. 720+ a second roll rate.

whats up with those "AIRPLANE" guys? do they think their special? dam I fly planes and helis, 30+ yrs of planes and now almost 2 years of helis. I still like doing both but the helis are much more complicated and take a great deal of skill to fly. I can 3D planes with the best and last week had an opportunity to fly one, needless to say I put on a pretty good airshow at ocma doing knife edge orbits around the field and a couple of short hovers and torq rolls. then my left hand started to fall asleep, not enough to do, so I gave the guy back his plane and went heli flying. anytime those plane guys think they got it all just remind them some of us do fly planes and really know the differance. hey Toro did you ever fly at Point Fermin of LB bluffs with finless? we used to do combat there back in 80s.

I came to heli from planes , still fly airplane also, I have to say, some of those airplane only guy are cold blood man, they think they own the sky, there airplane guy @ AP last sat, he just bring his war bird to midle of the field, and stay there launch his warbird toward the parking lot, make all us heli guy have to land the heli and wait for safety. Other kind run for their life hehe

Yeah there was some A hole with a Corsair who kept flying over the heli pad on Monday morning. After about the second pass I did my absolute best to try and put carbon fiber on balsa wood. Unfortunately I missed by a few feet however he never returned to that end of the field. The best part was when he would make a run back towards the runway and the Nitro 600 would actually catch up to him!

I have been known to stretch a hurricane out a little wide when they start pulling those shennanigans... Nothing like not being able to see a haulin ass heli comin at you backwards and inverted and all the sudden hear the blades fart right in front of you.... That sends the pucker on em'.... Whats good for the goose is good for the gander. If they fly over us, they get a return visit.

I have looked at Carson Field but I think I will have more fun with you guys over there although OCMA is about 1 hour from my house. I'm a rc heli die-hard guys.

Yea... thats from my plank days long ago when I used to fly big wood.... 40% etc... I gave him some good go juice for his DA 50 when he was flying planks at Pomona Valley Model AIRPLANE Club... Notice the word AIRPLANE.... They dont like heli's. Ask Bob about his experiences there.

Yep that is why I do not fly at Pomona anymore and have not renewed my membership. Not heli friendly at all and I tried to get them to be more heli friendly... Ain't going to happen.

Toro, I remember you giving me the tank of gas to try on my Christen Eagle with DA 50. Jeff Fassbinder has that plank now. You gave me a tank to try Amisol and see how I liked it... See I have a good memory :)

I'm visiting family for the week and would like to check out the local scene. I have a 450 V2, but am just hovering with it. Only here through Saturday, but I'll probably be back again.
Thanks,
Conrad

It on the north side of Lampson St. Between Valley View and Seal Beach Blvd. It is behind a commercial building called West Ed.

I'll be out there Saturday at 9-10ish. Usually stay till 1-2 ish.

Been having fun with this little Trex450. Still love the MT, but this Trex is a gem. Flying the 450's during the week is nice, but I sure get to missing my Logo by the time the weekend rolls around.

Rob's is nice, but a bit of a drive for me. Gyro is right around the corner, and Rob's is even farther for me than Ultimate. Plus Rob's has never had what I wanted when I wanted it... That could be my fault for being picky, or for wanting things like Spektrum AR7000's and EvoLite packs when everyone else did.

I'm praying Airbung brings his canopy out this weekend to protect my delicate fair skin. I'm such a pretty flower you know...

Robs Hobbies is first class, along with Gyro Hobbies both are good and both are worth a visit, gyro has some real exotic helis and planks. worth the trip just to see, also they got 60in plasma sims.
I am not going flying this weekend, we have tax man on sat and Trials comp on sunday. so no heli for me this weekend, but tomorrow looks good so far and maybe thursday too.
Ryem3 when you come out say hello and ask for assistance most will help.

Yeah there's a lot of brushy grassland out here to watch over. I used to work with Arcadia FD a few years back when the had the fires up north of them in the hills. It was an interesting couple of weeks when that happened. Summer's got to be difficult for the guys.

Have fun for me guys! I'm up in MN, starting a 5 day trip tomorrow, back Sunday night. If anyone is up for some early flying (to stay out of the heat) Monday or Tuesday just shoot a PM. Again, thanks for the help with the setup on the 600N!
