Cant hear the bunghole bearing sound from here but have you checked your rear engine bearing for rust? If you have a little pitting satarting on the real bearing you tend to hear it first when the engine is not loaded up!
Here is what my OS 91 rear bearing looked like after about 4 months.

no wonder you didnt fly today, look at all that shiny stuff. wooooah baby. I had the whole place (ocma) to my self, just got back. N9 #1 still has bearing sound when I do FFF. all 3D and rolls and stuff dont make the noise. I think its the head, checked and lubed all main drive, one way, and bearings.did complete teardown last night. what you think mike? you heard it. whats up with the 13s I thought you were going hog wild with that new engine? 14, 15??
I'm starting with 13's, the cyclic on this setup is super fast, can't wait to give it a test run, the machining quality is very impressive, every part fits like a glove, even the hardware is machined to match.

Finless, the sound only happens when i get in fast level FF, all other moves do not make noise( chirping) no matter how hard I slam the sticks. so I will take apart the head and see whats up? engine is sano, all checked out runs excellent, did a no main spool up in garage and sounded perfect. I thinking that a grip brng or damper bushing F'd.
Bullseye, that thing looks like a ripper, are you getting bigger mains?

the mail man just dropped off a set of Rotortech 610's so I'll be testing the new blades this weekend.

610s will be nice but i was thinking 630s.
Problem solved, chirping noise from fast FF not during 3D......bent sindle...Doh! so now its got the Synertech dampers and ready to jam.

thats not a bearing thats a rock crusher. that thing must have been howling.

jimbo! man i scanned through the previous posts in this thread, seems like you go every freakin day! in any case, ill see you probably saturday morning till whenevers and do some flying. my thumbs are itching! i think long may go as well. should be awesome!

Every Freekin day I'm not working, and march is always slow for us. besides I need the practice. been busy dialing in the N9s, today should be final adjustment.
Airboss your our Heli Hero, way to get in the flying time man! :noteworthy I am like Lowflyer, I work for the family buisness, but not top dog yet so I can't take "Fly Days" just yet :)
