Gotta say... I like the V's. Plenty fast, and nice and smooth in fast transitioning flight. Vic has good stuff...

Never tried the stubbz.... Perhaps because I have an inferiority complex over anything named, or containing the name stub...

Ben, sorry for your incident!

Anyways try to get your helis ready for Saturday.

Just finished with replacing the broken parts, replacing the head, setting the tx. and re-binding for failsafe. Hopefully the 401 & 9250 will be in the mailbox when I get home from work so I can finish by tomorrow evening, if not Saturday when I see you guys. I'm not going to be able to come down on Sunday as I just promised a 40 miles bike ride in the morning and the golf buddies want a get together to watch the Masters on Sunday.

I also bought the stubz for the nitro, but Jay only had one set so I bought the v paddles for the electric. I'll try the v paddles and see what happens. Are you running the stubz? If so, are you running the weights too?

BTW, what's the fees for the club?

I've used the V's, the stubs and the Align version of the V's. they to me are about the same.

Currently I have a set of Stubs on my T600N, V's on a R50 and T600E, the Align copy on a R30 and a set of X-Cell white paddles on another R50. I like the X-Cell paddles the best and at 13 bucks or so you can't beat it.

BTW: the dues for OCMA are 100.00US per year and a one time initiation fee of 50.00US. As of today there is no "Real" heli club, but that may change. Airboss came up with "OC HELI" as a name and I kinda like it....any other names to throw in the hat. I'll start looking into what it will take to become an AMA Club, as for club fees, well that should be really low since we fly at OCMA and that's cost 100 a year, why should we charge more IMO.

Since I'm going to be in this hobby for many years to come, I might as well pay the due and join AMA. Can I use the AMA card to fly at OCMA or OCMA is an additional fee to the AMA yearly membership?

Airboss
04-11-2008, 01:26 PM
AMA is required to fly there but does not cover membership dues. dues are $100/ yr and $50 one time sign up fee. see ; flyocma.com...even gives realtime weather updates.gladd your thinking of joining us, you will have a great summer.plenty of laughs thats for sure.

I know this is not the for sale section but I wanted to give the OC guys first dibs on these things, plus your local and can pick this stuff up. I'll be out at the field (OCMA) on sunday, but let me know what your intrested in via PM and if you want to pick it up Sunday or later on next week, we'll work something out.

With the exception of the Gyros, everything is sold "AS IS" and I advise anyone looking at getting anything used to concider that when commiting to buying or making me an offer. On Monday I will put these things up for sale to everyone else in the "for sale" section at a slightly higher price. To get these at the prices bleow you must be able to pick this stuff up (at my work in Irvine) or meet at the field (OCMA).

(2) futaba 401's - they were pulled off my EP8 SP, EP8 EX and ECO8 and were working when I pulled them off. I have not tested these.
I'll let them go for 50 bucks each and if they don't work I'll refund you the money and you can give the 401 back to me, so I can send it in for repair.

Neu 1107H 2Y (3300KV) good motor for the trex size Heli's
