What happened? showed up at 11:30 and OCMA was empty? You east side guys can't stand a little wind?:) Went to Gyro then Arbor later and wind died down, so flew many packs for the rest of the day.

Any body have a spare Logo500 boom and 550mm blades? (mike?) My Logo500 Vbar maiden lasted 4 sec.:mad:

we got there in the morning our helis were blowing over on the ground, the gravel was bouncing off our legs. it was blowing 15 with gusts to 30 or more. not very fun!

4 sec. ?? is that a new record :YeaBaby: I'm just kidding Kevin, sorry to hear that, I have some 550 woodies and the booms on the Logo 10 not the same. let me know if you want a set of woodies.
Check with Halo3 or Aox they might have a spare.

Cool, Thanks Gene and Mike. Yes the logo 10 boom is the same as logo 500.

Yes 4 sec, checked every thing before spool-up except one thing... gyro sense direction on the cyclic. :arggg: Unlike reversing gyro on the tail, reversing gyro on the cyclic on a Vbar is a lot more disastrous.

Any pic? They had pizza party @ AP I heard. Darn, look like I am ground for couple of weeks. My dx7 need to send in to repair with Backup error disday. In mean time , I am taking apart my fleet, new bearing all around.

Seems like you guys had a great time today. I missed you all this time.

I went down to Carson field and actually had a chance to fly one of the first trex 700s. Guys I have to say the 700's performance beats the Synergy big time!!! Did a couple os flights and left for a birthday party at 1200pm



















Actually I'm just kidding. I did not fly the 700 but Andy did and it flew great. 1 lbs lighter than my synergy and of course it's got more power!

My Nikon camera sucked and I was not able to take any good action pictures of the 700.

fun day... Tables ahh nice... 4 good flights... brings me to 2 gallons this week alone. DOH ! ! Sorry to see a little gravity storm come through targeting a few.... I have to say though, even the Russian judge scored those with 9.5's... good to hang out with the heli guys again... I should be around next Sunday. Perhaps even during the week. Working Mon, Wed, Thurs, and Saturday. Perhaps Weds PM, or Fri AM.
