all carbon frame 700 trex, it looks light... bullseye will have one tomorrow.
Nop, I'm going to stick with the 50 size for now, just having too much fun with the smaller Heli's.
just ordered some parts from Horizon for the Vibe, only $25.00 worth of damage (not counting the main blades) the bad news is the main shaft and spindle shaft won't be available until the end of April.

Morning,
A few of you gentlemen have flown with me a month or so back. I finally finished off my first gallon in the 600 that several of you helped me get up and running. Just recently, I noticed that the muffler is starting to rattle, sounds like the internal baffle has unwelded itself. Based on recommendations from other users of this forum, I contacted customer service at www.alignrcusa.com (http://www.alignrcusa.com) The polite gentlemen there wanted to work with me but apparently I purchased my Nitro Pro Combo kit from an other than Align USA vendor (online). At the time there wasn't really another choice under the old Gyro Hobby or Hobby People without going to Ultimate; even at that, Ultimate couldn't keep in stock all the stuff I needed to get a bird flying which would mean multiple trips up and down the 55 from S. OC. Of course one could call ahead, but you will be on hold for 40 minutes while the one heli guy gets around to answering the phone.
Some FYI, Align USA is not Align, not even related or so they claim. They are simply a vendor for Align of Taiwan. I indicated that I would like to talk with someone from Align and my POC kindly expressed that they probably won't respond to any emails. I am off to the NEW Gyro to pick up another muffler, I can promise that this 600 will be my last Align product.
On a good note, some incentive to go to Gyro and look at some British designed birds. Whatever brand of muffler I purchase, I will send my almost new broken muffler to as an example of their competitors quality along with a narrative explaining how it arrived at their door step.
Align, welcome to capitalism and a free market.
Man you know your HeliFreak when not being able to fly ruins your whole weekend :arggg: I had the green light to fly all Sat. morning, was totally looking forward to it all week. Get out to my local park where a few of us fly our electrics and the wind was kicken our ass.
On a side note, that 700 looks sweet!
Live to Fly! Everyone have a great week! :)

John's not a rep for Align that I am aware of. He is the president of the club at Carson though.
I see Andy's back from Taiwan with goodies... Guess I will have to stop by the shop and have a look see :)

Well, looks like I'm going to be out of the heli seen for a few months or more :( Anyways, thanks for everyone's help!
On a side note, I picked up a Synergy N9 from Jay a few weeks ago and need to get rid of it quick! First $850 can have it. I'm located in the Costa Mesa area. Still brand new in it's box, paid $1050 out the door.
Need to get rid of this by end of this week.
Thanks,
Jody J.

On the 700 fuel tank tube at the top. Is that a one-way or just a filter?

It's a YS check valve (one-way)

I would of liked to see the 700 in person and would of made the trip to Carson if I'd of known.
My Raptor might be at risk of loosing all of it's parts to the 700. A one pound weight savings is a bunch! Maybe not though? I've got my Raptor working better than it ever has. I just got it dialed in when the throttle linkage fell off, easy fix.
Look forward to flying with you guys some time soon.

Had OCMA to myself all day! There weren't any heli guys at Gyro today but I ended up finding an MP5, nice muffler! In contrast to the Align muffler, similar if not exactly the same power but surely quieter. It was nice to have the entire runway to myself :smokin:

the MP5 is a great pipe, did you like the new tables?

on any day I'm not there you guys are welcome to break out my canopy that stored in the big green container at OCMA. It's Brown and has my name on it. Just remember to tie it down to the rocks we left by the tables (or you might get smaked in the head by the canopy while your flying) and put it away when your done. You have to be a OCMA to use it though since you need the combo to open the container.

I went out to Apollo field today and found that my engine went bad. The rear bearing is completely gone just after about 10 gallons.
Its a good time to share this picture:

nice foto LONG, thats a lot of nitro! those YS engines giving you trouble, should of gone OS.
Gene, that 700 will be a nice heli just like all the other 90s. But those N9s are sexy and fast! besides I have a hobby store of spares. the crashed N9 needs only front plate and servo tray(in garage) boom and torq tube(in garage) gears , main and crown both tail gears (LONG).. mains( GYRO HOBBIES ) 1 grip, shaft and spindle..... then I can build N9 #3...

I'm holding out for either the T700N or the Avro...but for now I'm kool with the 50's...just found a sweet deal (servocity) for S3151 DIgital servos for my new plank (56" YAK 54) there not super fast or have gobbs of torque but for 14 bucks the'll work just fine on a plank.
gene
I'll probably hold out for 700N. however I can be persuaded.
