Takes a lot to get one built too. I've got my 600N pro built, now I need everything else for it except the engine. I've been considering putting on whatever it takes to get it flying.
401 instead of 611 or spartan. I want 8717s for it but may put on whatever I can dig up.
Still need blades too, Dave burnt up the ones I was supposed to get and he has a set of rotor techs but I didn't really like the RTs on my Raptor. he's supposed to get me some Radix blades but I have no idea how long it will be before he actually gets them. sucks.

nothing wrong with the 401, infact its a good gyro for 600mm and smaller. saves a bit of all up weight too.

Mitch,
401 works great on a 600.
As far as Radix goes, have you seen this:
http://www.curtisyoungblood.com/products_view.php?id=28
If they had not etched the words "Cosmetically Flawed" into the tops of the blades, you would never know.
(a set of these were on my Knight 3D when we flew a couple of weeks ago).

the 401 works pretty darn good, for what it is, I have one on my R50, Swift, T600E and an (2) R30's and they hold just fine, but I don't throw it around too much. I have 3 spartans one of which is going on a new Heli, and the other two were marked for replacing the 401's on the Raptors but they are holding fine so I don't see the need Just yet. So if you want a 401, I'll bring my extras (I have 3 or 4 laying around) to OCMA on tomorrow and we can work something out, you could just borrow one until you get the gyro you want.

How early do you guys get there in the morning. I am able to get out early tomorrow, but since I need a member to buddy with I didn't want to arrive alone.
BTW doesn't nitros rely on batteries for powering the servos? I haven't seen any alternators on helicopters yet. Just a thought:nanabobo
