ordered my new toy should be here in three weeks...

So sad about finding a place to fly...I finally broke down and Joind a field, there is two by my house and I joind the more Heli friendly one. all tough Trabucco Canyon is getting a few Heli pilots now...TC is 250 a year and OCMA is 100 a year. both have a 50 dollar initiation fee. it sucks for the west side guys but both fields are 15 to 20 min form my house. Last weekend I forgot my TX and drove home and back in half an hour, would have been faster if I took the toll road..

And yes Jim I'm still working on the Club....have been really busy at work, I'll prob. get to it this weekend...

I would really like to get out and fly with you guys but I don't have any fuel. and I can't get out to get any today.

Well, that's it. No need for me to keep the 600E anymore, as Arbor was the only reason I kept a 50 size electric in the inventory.

I'm really going to miss that place. All of my real learning and advancement happened there. I'll miss you guys, too, as I'll probably only see you at fun fly events.

So, now that AP's closed, anyone have any new flying field for those of us with "electric shavers"? Especially if we have no desire for those "big smelly slimey nitros"? Nothing against them, whatever floats your boat. I did the nitro thing decades ago with planks, and always thought the minuses outweighed the pluses.

Some of us are going to try Arbor today and see what happens. One of the guys that was there yesterday said the park manager was there and he called the cops (this has happened before as he hates us being there). If true then again this has happened before during the week but weekends were fine. We shall see.

If it is closed down I do have a new secret spot.

TOMORROW !!! rig is charged, bringin' out the night ship to finish the last bit of wrenching. that bipe was a sweety, it was the only plank out there today that actually looked like fun! some of toro's buddy's got a bit close and at times we had to have a spotter to keep a look out. why do the plank guys all fly so stupid? they should come and hang in our area to see what Kaos they cause when flying over our heads.

So anyone is interested in a Synergy N9 airframe with hyper upgrades, a set of YS91SR + Hatori SB19 + cardsmart + servo + sensor.... let me know.

I'm buying a secret top power electric heli for my Vietnam trip next month.

Hey Nice photos!!!!
Guys I was @ Arbor yesterday, and yes the cops showed up @ 10:30am No one was flying due to Soccer players...

I got my Trex 500 Flybarless finished and up in the air. I want to personally thank Kevin and Bob for there expertise on the VBar. I was going to give it up because of the directions. The directions it comes with are impossible to understand and if you do understand they think you just assume you know what they are talking about.
If anyone is going to get a VBar set up, you need to get help doing it or you going to pay alot for parts...

Bob, Keven I owe you lunch so don't bring anything. I will order some pizza today and have it delivered @ the park.

We had a great day and I will take some photos today and post them tonight.
See you guys later.

Jerome, you should watch John V-stabi video in my forum... There are some things that still may not be setup right on yours now that I watched his video!
It appears your pitch up problem maybe related to CLASSIC mode as that mode expects to get feedback from the air pressure sensors!

Long, I'm interested in the Synergy. Shoot me a PM for what you're looking to sell it for.\

Just got back from the Central Valley, up in Visalia, where I grew up. Went to go see my Mom in a musical she was performing in, and hang out with pops.

Stopped by Visalia Hobbies today, and the family that used to own it when I was kid still own it, and they have a really knowledgable heli guy up there named Adam. We shot the shit for about an hour and I scoped out the Visalia heli scene. Visalia has fields all around it, being an ag area, but they have a legit AMA field now, which is pretty cool. The most common heli up there is the Caliber 5! They sell it for 299, and that's the heli most of the guys start with up there. Pretty trippy. But it was cool to see my old shop sellin helis.

Looks like you guys had a great time this weekend! I was bummed to not make it out to fly and see Mitch.

Next weekend, looks like I'll be MIA again, due to some sort of Chargers season ticket contest I'm going to with my girl (she's a football freak) and Mother's day.

Anyone gonna be out at the field this week? I'm thinkin about burning a vacation day and spending the day out there relaxing and flying. If anyone's going to be out there let me know what day, and I'll get the day off.

Pretty sure I'm going to buy a Nitro. Long selling his N9 is a sign. If not his N9, I think I'm going to get a Freya or Stratus.

Anyway, see you goats soon!
