It was so smooth, man... Even compared to my Shogun, which was my stable king...

Now, I fly micros and submicros. I'm ok with a twitchy heli...

This was another world. So stable. It just went were I told it. There was no fighting it.

I scored a TP1010/TP210 at Ultimate last week, so I'm watching my mah's increase as my pack charges from my first 5 minute hover flight. Love that charger... nice to have info after a year of a 3E "plug in and wait for the cell lights to go from red to green."

Stock ESC and motor got super hot, but it was in normal mode, and headspeed was pretty low, so the motor was probably down out of its power band.

Now I just have to get over my fear of idle up...

Oh man, I see mini titan parts in my future...

I don't have n9. But kasama got my truth, their stuffs is not just same thing with different material. They alway going long road re_design / re fine for better perf.

Mine is the prototype of Hyper Grips...they are really rare. They came with the killer deal synergy kit on ebay.

I would recommend you go Hyper grips because they are proven by many pilots. The Kasama upgrades are really really nice, especially, really well machined. However, lately kasama tail upgrade on my Synergy has been taken out and I put the stock tail on. I got my kasama tail blowing out sometimes in backwards and tictocs...

I'm repainting my canopy. Hope it will be better.

Jim, I'm really in the logo 500 for next year but not 100%. The Hurricane 550 also got my attention.

i got z-power 50 - 800 here :) , have not dicided to using 8s or 10s setup yet, 90 heli too big for me, i am next heli is vibe50 or logo600 (share 10s with my trex600)

Tom is getting me a 500th motor, i am going 4s on my 450 also. hehe can't wait till this weekend.

Do you know anybody with one? Haven't heard a lot of good things about it. In fact, quite the opposite. :(

I'll be out there between 9 and 10. Jim always gets there at 9, far's I know. Mike seems to always bet there when Jim is too, so earlier than 10.

I'm pretty fond of 10 as a showup time, myself. It's not too early I feel I'm going to work, but it's not too late I feel I'm wasting the morning.

IMO the Logo 500 3D is 1000x better than a Hurricane 550. Just don't crash the Logo though, because it will cost you as much as a new kit to fix it.

Very soon I'll be getting the Trex 500. Don't be surprised if you see me one day pop up a picture and go, BAMMMMM.

Bought some bling today...

Carbon rear fin for the mini titan.

Paint: Black, Indy Silver, Pearl Red, Clear and another Mini Titan canopy.

Gonna try to do a silver top, with a thin black jagged stripe, and candy red bottom. I plan on primering the canopy with flourescent white, laying down the silver base coat, the candy red bottom overcoat, then stencil out the jagged stripe. Then clearcoat.

Kind of an experiment. We'll see.

Found an old JMP lexan 400 size Raptor canopy at Ultimate today for my shogun. Gonna try the same thing as the mini titan, color scheme wise, then have a little mini raptor to go with my err.. mini titan...

I really wanted to do silver and red, as I plan on eventually upgrading to the kasama head, which is silver and red. But I'm worried about visibility.

So I asked Jay at Ultimate to order a couple more mini titan canopies, so I can paint up a flourescent green and yellow one for high visiblity.

I am so loving this bird... Finally something I can bling out a bit without feeling guilty about "wasting money on an inferior heli".

Don't worry though, Airboss. I'm still saving up for the Logo :D

I came soo close to getting a Logo. I still think its the best 550 size heli in the world.

The power to weight ratio of the logo's cant be beat!
The new Logo's are a lot better in crash worthiness than the older logos.

Vic, are you ever going to stick to one heli for a while and fly? Just letting you know that getting good with a heli will make you better in the long run than flying something different every month! Personally your E-550 would have been good for you had you stuck with it for a while!

Yea, I agree. I was starting to get really comfortable with my Mini-Titan e325 too. Was finally doing side ways flips from left to right across the field like Jason does. But then the Mars 480 got too me too much and I just couldn't resist the tempation of building a new heli. For me, building them is just as fun as flying them.

I most likely be keeping the Knight 50 3D Nitro for a long while. Parts are really affordable. I wouldn't mind trying the Xtreme 50 also, but I think I need to stick to the Knight. I know in its class, nothing really compares to it in its performance once you get it dialed in really good.

Still wating for replacement parts on the Mars 480. The YS50 still needs fine tuning as I had no pressure because my tank had a bad leak from a mod I did to install an OS Bubbless Clunk. Got a new tank today.

i know your going to sell that mars.. next time you get the nitro flying try to burn a gallon or two the first day, that will make you feel better..let us know how the weekend goes..Long and us oc guys will be burning nitro this saturday and sunday ..where you flying?

stay with as lest 1 same heli man.. you are building and selling your heli so fast... 1 got my trex450 from 1st day into this hobby and it still with me man. and i don't think i am going to sell it/ ever .. it will pass thru my kids and grand kids, this 1 always stay in family :) . when it come to the hand of my grand kid... darn I can't wait to see they upgrade it to nuke powered battery/ and plasma turbine jet motor on the little guy :)

I still got my first TRex600, I will never sell it. its my favorite for auto's. My logo has been with me from the first batch sent to dealers and has become a favorite and now the N9 , I will never sell this heli and am not interested in getting another.. like Lowflyer says ,, better to fly same heli to increase your skills.
