How was the flying at fields today? Didn't feel like going all over the place to find a flying field, so I flew a couple packs at each of the two local places just a couple miles from my house. Was pretty breezy today. The little USCG-Rex does ok at FFF in the wind, but all that side area, fins and 240-gyro definitely wants to make it weather-vane into the wind when trying to hover or do slow piro's. :thumbdown:

Pretty sure I'm going to buy a Nitro. Long selling his N9 is a sign. If not his N9, I think I'm going to get a Freya or Stratus.

Long's price for his N9 is CHEAP!!!!! If I didn't have one already I'd buy his. I tried to sell my Trex 600E CF with all the goodies to get Long's, but nobody wanted it.

6 servos, 2 power systems, 1 gyro, 2 multigovs (when the come back) 1 set of 710's, a YS 91sR, and a partridge in a pear tree. doh !
Selling 14 8611, a JR 10x transmitter, 3 JR 790 Rx. and whatever other plank stuff I can find laying around...
PS I thought I would throw a couple of pics of the old Electron burner I used to have... for old times sakes, just to let you guys know I ain't HATIN'.

Really sad to hear about AP. The guys i have been flying with off Cherry and the 210 got thrown out on Saturday moring. One of the residence complained about the noise.. The cop sat out on the street for awhile said he couldnt hear a damn thing. The thing that killed the deal. City official came out and said you cant park in the field cuz there is no asphalt. WTF? Imagine that Riverside county and you cant park in the dirt?? I heard that and had to laugh.. Anyway I guess the thirty or so guys pirate flying there have found another place to fly around the corner.. Really to bad there are NO heli friendly clubs in the area.. Alot of guys just learning to fly and having a good time.. Toro, Dude you got slow down.. I had too to many dam parts I need to finsih then some big crashes I'm gonna need a second job to feed this monster.. Thinking of selling the 260 to finish up a couple more helo's.. Dooh!

What else does a shaver boy need to move into the slimer world? A starter, some fuel, a bottle of alcohol to clean the heli, some rags, another bottle of alcohol in case I crash? Hehe. I need a fuel pump. Other things?

Arbor park was in full force yesterday with no cops.
We are pretty sure the issue is going to be a week day issue now that the park manager is coming by again mid week.
Anway it was PACKED man... we had to put heli's in line to fly! One time there were 8 helis in line to fly. The beauty was NO PLANKERS!!!!! I guess they got the word no flying :)

Whew. I had to find a druid to get the old Shogun running. Druids are hell to find nowadays. The one I found was royalty though, which was news to me. I had never heard of a druish princess before.

Any of you guys making the trip out to San Diego for the funfly this weekend? I will be out there all day Saturday. Look for the short, FAT guy that should be wearing a hat but instead will be burning my poor head again.. Toro, me and SAC are leaving real early Saturday morning if you want to cruise with us let me know. I'm thinking about taking the trailer to make things easy.. Sadly my N9 will not be making the trip...

It's on like Donkey Kong for flying this weekend....not sure which day but I'll be out at OCMA but I'll be there for sure...weather man says sunny and low 70's.....

Looks like it's gonna be a done deal. I'm buying Long's Synergy on Friday. I thought bout other helis, but this makes the most sense, since you all fly N9's and Gyro is N9Land.
HALO3, I have Friday off, and hopefully Wednesday. If so, I'll call you Wednesday morning, well go fly!!
There's a possibility I'll have my new .90 flying Friday with Long's help, if the extra bits I need fall into place!
If we don't get it going then, which we may not, maybe you guys could help me on Saturday the 17th?
