CNC Router is about half way done. few more parts to build and she'll be up and running. now if I can get this work schedule to clear up. anyone have plans for flying this weekend...it's a long weekend...

I'm working my a$$ off this week, but I did manage to get to MTA today and pick up a YS50 for the Vibe, still looking for a check valve for the 90 and the 50 hopping Gyro's got them.
I'll be out on Saturday like usual, it looks like it's going to be nice and cool this weekend.
OH yea, I forgot, I aslo picked up a real camera for change a Nikon D60 time to open the box and see what's in the box ;)

Gene, let me know if you need any help with that CNC router.
I'll be there nice and early Saturday. Bringing a couple buddies out with me to watch. Need to see about getting my YS91 tuned, as it's running pretty rich right now. Long and I ran it rich because it was so bloody hot when we set it up. This weekend looks like a nice temp to dial in the needles and get the carbsmart sorted.
Got a freshie keg o fuel and ready to rock.
I've cleaned my N9 like 4 times since last weekend. She's been hanging out on the dining room table.
Still no gov. Money's tight right now, but next month should be able to pick up a throttle jockey.
Gotta change the elevator servo arm on my Logo as well. Gov on the Logo was working SO damn well last weekend.
So stoked! Looking forward to burnin some electrons and nitro this weekend, Sat, Sun, maybe even Monday.

saturday for sure, its going to be a great weekend, lower temps more power. I'm all dialed in .
Aox, look for a CSM gov ,I think they have them at A Main Hobbies.easy set up ans works good.

Nice purchase on the D60 Mike. Now you need a 200mm image stablilizer lense for those close up photos of the heli doing crazy 3D.
Long, who won the match? I'd to go back to work at 65 min.
No golf on Saturday so I may come down and hang out with the Eastside OCHF gangsta!

why didn't you tell me you needed a 50 motor...I have both a OS 50 Hyper and YS50, sent them in for repair and now they sit since I couldn't wait I bought new motors.

I have everything I need, the original CNC Router I bought sucked eggs, but it came with good Steppers and a decent control board and powersupply. I got it all to work but the table was only really good for +/- .015" and table size was 12 x 18. I'm building this one out of 80/20 and have TKO and IKO linear slides for the three axis the table size is now 32 x 32. for now I have a Proxxon grinder as the spindle but I'm looking at better solutions. Since the new table is build like a tank I can mount just about anything to it. lots of 3/8" and 1/2" T6 6061 used all over the place. I got a mini mill a few weeks back and put a DRO on it makes building things soo much easier. I'll take some pics of it and post up later.

Gene, thanks for the offer, it was a last minute decision that I made yesterday, not very satisfied with the hyper in the Vibe.
Ben, just start playing around with the D60 and I’m already amazed of the performance and quality, got tired of pocket size digitals that don’t perform.

I just picked up a used Nikon D70 off Ebay.. Tired of the little chick cameras the wife totes around.. To bad it wont get here before I leave.. Oh well maybe I'll break her in out there at Black STar

First class heli fleet now first class camera, darn Mike. Talk about pocket cameras, I got 20 years old 35mm leica that will kick ass any pricy pocket camera out there on the market :)

BTW, please tell me I'm not crazy but when you give the collective a push to the right, the tail goes left which resulting in the nose going to the right for a right banking turn, right?

PS... how do I post non-thumbnails like Long does ? so you can see it full size without clicking ? and these were taken with MY NEW D60 NIKON !! I went with the 300MM ZOOM Lense VR ! Way cool...

Thanks a lot Ben, went back to circuit city this afternoon and picked up a bag, I knew I forgot to buy somthing when I left the store.
Toro, the 300mm zoom lense is next on the list, had to wait since the lense cost as much as the D60.
I got a package from Costco.com 1250 bucks for body 2 lenses one of them being the 300... SO with that. Happy birthday,mothers,easter,anniversary,kwanza,christm as,hanukah, and FESTIVUS ! she aint gettin a damn thing .... until next week.

I have the Canon 10D and EF 55-200mm lens that a friend gave me. the 200mm image stabilizer lens, is it worth it?

Thats actually the wifes car... I have a TAHOE, which I think is svengali for gashog. I have had 3 in there though along with field equipment. 100 mph to vegas.

With fast moving object, especially sport events, she's worth every penny. I took pics with mine, a none IS, versus my brother-in-law and his pictures are sharper.
