I still got my first TRex600, I will never sell it. its my favorite for auto's. My logo has been with me from the first batch sent to dealers and has become a favorite and now the N9 , I will never sell this heli and am not interested in getting another.. like Lowflyer says ,, better to fly same heli to increase your skills.

My skills have gotten alot better even though I've switch tons of heli's. I like to build them also as a hobby. When I get bored with one, I try another. These are dang toys to me guys. Its only a hobby to have fun. You guys take this way too series sometimes. Some guys like to have one for life, and others like to have an army. One day I'll build my troops, and have a million man march of heli's too!!!! :YeaBaby:

I even told my wife that once our baby is born, I might sell all my heli's and focus on my carreer which will consume all my time.

Sell your helis and focus on a career?? what kinda crap is that?? we know you better than you know yourself..LOL. when i started doing helis i was very happy with the build part but soon lost interest and wanted to fly more than build, so today i keep my flying simple and crashes to a minimum. this keeps the helis off the workbench and in the sky.

His career is building and selling heli hehe jk. Can't Image how busy it will be when u have a baby ******. Except new born baby .... look at me , I am able to manager some spare time and hang out fly with the OC crew men anyway.

im never gonna sell my lepton. I've always wanted one eversince my first trex 450 but it was way too expensive for a kit. After about a dozen trex 450's later i am now an owner of a lepton. Unfortunately i will not be able to enjoy my lepton until after the new year because i myself am concentrating on my career. =)

Crash landed a low elevation auto, due to esc cutout, dinged up the logo..rotors cracked skids broke and small bend in flybar..this is one tough heli, freefall from 20ft. might have loaded a low battery, ooops.

Not too bad damage Airboss, esc cut is the reason I am using NO cut off set up in my esc.

I have not fly this week .. Due to rebuild and upgrade my birds.

Had two GREAT flights on my awesome little mini titan. Swooping and such, slow flights, circuits, good stuff. Still no idle up.

Met some new guys!!! Got a chance to meet Lota Fun R, and Zguy. Good dudes, and I had a lot of fun bs-ing with them. Zguy's Logo is a champ, and flies so sweet! He's got some chops on his little Honeybee CP2 as well! First micro I've ever seen do 3d with my own eyes!

Lota Fun R and Long were working feverishly to get his Raptor 90 up and online, and when I left they were still working out all the links. Lota Fun had an issue with missing a ball, but I won't comment much on that... HAH!

Now the bad news... Airboss and Long's Synergy's... both did the dirty dirt dance. Now, I've never seen as much ground debris fly up from a crash as Airboss' had. Massive crashed, both. Long had a bit of an issue with a forward input when the heli wanted a rearward, and unfortunately, shovels make much better trench diggers than augering Synergy's.

I've got a couple pics of the carcasses.. Let us have a moment of silence and mourn the temporary downtime of two of the three members of Synergy SoCal.

Long's Bird:

Airboss' Bird:

So that sucked... Gonna miss Airboss at the field while he's takin some time off to rebuild and get un-pissed. He's my favorite buddy to BS with.

Zguy tore up the skies a bit more with his TREX450, and Lowflyer and I shot the shit and he got some good TREX600 flights in as well. Lowflyer's one cool cat, even if his TREX motor runs like molten lava :D

The newbie glider boys were there again today, and one had a little cessna. They don't come talk to us at all, but they're getting better. Cool to watch some people learn how to fly planes.

I picked up a new Flightpower 2500 mah pack last week for today, but after two sweet flights on the Mini-Titan, I was ok with no more hehehe. So I flopped the FP2500 into the T-28 and had a sweet flight with that thing. Every time I fly it I like it more and more.

Anyway, great day at Irvine, even with the bad luck and crashed. Looking foward to next time!!

Today was really bad! I got my Synergy dialed in with new blades, paddles and tail blades until I dumped it into the ground. I should have practiced more in inverted backwards...that's alright, crashing is a part of the game. I will get my baby up to the sky soon. I just feel sad for Jim and hope he will be back with us soon.

Man, sorry to hear about your guys crashes. Nitro's are cheap to fix either.

Did either of you two do the chicken dance? Anybody bring a video camera?

............... Nitro's are cheap to fix either.

hope so man . they both crash at high HS. both N9 got their head chew off in 1 place the tail other place.

There wasn't any funky chicken, just in and off. Both of them sheared tailbooms. Airboss bent the hell out of his tail rotor shaft, and that's a significant chunk of metal. All in all, not as much damage as could've been. I believe all components and mainframes were fine, but Long broke his new hypergrip arms, and lost a mixing arm. Not too sure bout Airboss. He was plenty disgusted. His Trex's tail just let go too and went in. He's down all three helis.

No video. There was this cat who was gonna come down who's got this kick ass video camera, but he didn't make... oh wait :D WHERE WERE YOU?! That GY401 I got from you is smooth as silk on my MT, man.

Ahh, spread that heli love, oh prosletyzer of the pitch pumpers. I want one of those tandem coax chinooks JMD is selling in the UK. I've got a blinged out Blade CX2 with a CF tail boom. It's uber fun chasing the cats around the house with it.

Yea, originally got a PicooZ last year for Christmas, but ended up giving it to my nephew instead, and I got a Sabre EF. My brother's loved that PicooZ.

This year, I figured I'd kick it up a notch and get them Coaxial. One of my brother I let use my simulator and he was flying on it within 10 minutes. I was like, what???? We'll see how he does with a real coaxial, or maybe I'll get him a regular fixed pitch. I know Hobby People got some crazy specials right now.
