Sooooo.. Long and Kevin, what makes this MSH norelco better then the Trex500?
Light weight, and unique drive system. Being all plastic it has the quality of a Mikado Logo (without the price tag). Super simple design and main shaft is made out of 7075 Hard anodized aluminum.
and also because I can't get my hands on an Aurora yet, I need something new to work on.:)

This answers my question which I have had for a while. That's the reason why the mainshaft is super light!

So when you crash hard the main shaft will crack and not bend. :YeaBaby:

I'd the same question when I first ran across this bird on ReadyHeli. In any event, she's pretty. BTW Bob, I've decided to heed your advice and will assemble the Rex500 but is debating between the 9650 vs. Z3650 for the cyclic. As for the gyro, I'm hating the 401 at the moment (or at least until this weekend) so Spartan ... for now.

After looking at the photos on the thread it looks a little light as far as strength goes...
I just looked at the specs on Ready Heli and its made with 30% carbon and Nylon.
Good mix for something with no flex, anything over 20% makes the nylon brittle and will snap. I think it will be more brittle than the Logo.

I am sure Kewvin will find out how strong it really is! ;)

Ya, it is a little stiffer than the gorilla gear material for the 450. They say that the main gear is hard to strip also... we'll see about that.;)
You have so much confidence in me Bob.:)

Yes, I got it yesterday. The build is done, just need to install electronics. Also got a bunch of spares, enough to make a second heli (almost).

It's going to be something like this, well just the airframe first. And it will have one important feature... 3D capable!;)

This I gotta see.... Kevin has been talking about making a 3D twin rotor for a couple months... I can see the twin rotor but 3D? This should be intersting :)
I see a SAB 425 blade shortage coming ;)
