Great day at OCMA, managed to bring the fleet home without damage, the Vibe funnel’s great, I’ve been practicing for a while and finally got the guts to attempt it in real life and not on the sim.
Practiced my auto’s with the shavers Saturday at Arbor and I’m getting better at judging the landing distance, so less walking to pick up the bird, managed to get the Nitro’s on the matt at OCMA closer and closer and I’m liking it.
Saw the Cure at the shrine last night and these guys can still put out a good show.

Din't think you wanted a regular update... here it is. Will get more parts in mid week and maybe able to start on the frame. The belt I'm getting will be twice the width of the one that comes with the Protos kit.
I think I'm going to make two version sideframes. A shorter version also so I can use 335mm Trex woody blades for my maiden flight.

Aox , just go to any hardware or radio shack and get some grommets, dude its just a grommet ! got mine at radio shack. big rex is semi retired , at 9 1/2 yrs he doesnt like jumping in the truck cause of the height. low rider needed ! he used to love my
chevy dually it was LOW. might have to take him down to AP and visit the West Side razors.hehehe. come on out to ocma and burn some nitro to show our love of the high fuel prices. Ahhh piss on that ! WTF is up with unlead? besides the cost.
Unleaded.... S T A N (shiit that aint nothin') How about DIESEL !! a dirty less refined fuel... WTF 5+ bucks a gal ? !!!

Gyro has the largest selection of Kasama that I have seen in any store, contact Jay.
I got kind of bummed @ gyro the other day. I went in there for some 600 parts, and also some synergy stuff.... One guy started helping me, and he didnt know much (he was working on a 450 when I went to him, and new zilch about nitro stuff) I was asking for certain things like spektrum remote antennae leads, and some simple stuff for the 600, balls, ball links, servo arms etc. He than just dissapeared like I was interupting him. WHERE DID HE GO ? I WASNT DONE WITH HIM !.. Jay came over helped me for a sec and than he disappeard too. I finally just resorted to renegadisim, and went behind the counter and helped myself to the other 200 dollars worth of items I needed. Parts stock is good, customer service was . They were working on Car shiit over on the heli side... WTF ! Maybe Paul needs a strongly worded letter ....
They dont like it when you rifle through there glass cases looking for spektrum receivers, and metal blade grips for the 600... Not that I would know or anything... But it did get me the rest of the help I needed.
I will go back there, but only because of the parts, not because of the knowledge there.. Jay seems like he is one of the only guys who knows a bit about this stuff. Mailorder is still the way to go I guess... Tax free and 2 days.

Sons B day party on Saturday, so Sat is out. Sunday is still up in the air due to work issues ? I dont know if Im working OT or not on that day yet. If Im not, Im in !
I'll be there, Sat, 9 am! Sunday too, if I can drag my ass up :D
I do have your blades, J, they're in my Spektrum case :D
Gyro kind of irked me similarly the other day. I went in to BS with Jay, and he was helpin some old dude with a freakin plank! WTF! Hahaha.. I got over it though :P
Jay always tells me to go get what I want off the wall.
